NASA Chief: Next Frontier Better Relations With Muslim World

NASA Administrator Charles Bolden said in a recent interview that his "foremost" mission as the head of America's space exploration agency is to improve relations with the Muslim world.

Though international diplomacy would seem well outside NASA's orbit, Bolden said in an interview with Al Jazeera that strengthening those ties was among the top tasks President Obama assigned him. He said better interaction with the Muslim world would ultimately advance space travel.

In that case it’s time to Sunset NASA. If that’s their number one priority we don’t need em.

The new Camels In Space program. Nice. We really needed one of those.

“He said better interaction with the Muslim world would ultimately advance space travel.”

I believe this is code — that their objective is to kill us all.

Death - the ultimate advanced space travel.

And all along I thought the mission was to boldly go where no man had gone before.

When did NASA become the Department of State or the People to People Program?

What utter nonsense.

Is the Argon National Labs now doing Community Organizing in Chicago?

(I do realize that under Clinton, Bill Richardon’s Los Alamos National Labs served as the welcome wagon for distributing our secretes to China.)

You can’t improve relations with the Muslim world unless you become a Muslim. Even then, you may be the “wrong” kind of Muslim and they’ll kill you anyway. NASA has been given a suicide mission.

Yeah, so we relation them all to outer space? I'll go with that.

Anyone here ever read the story, The Marching Idiots?

It would match this situation up perfectly.

Now that all the goats have been boldly "gone into," they're looking for new things.

“When I became the NASA administrator — or before I became the NASA administrator — he charged me with three things. One was he wanted me to help re-inspire children to want to get into science and math, he wanted me to expand our international relationships, and third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science ... and math and engineering,” Bolden said in the interview.

Sure sounds like what the head of the space agency should be up to.

In the word’s of Nancy Pelosi: “Are you SERIOUS?!?”

>>He said better interaction with the Muslim world would ultimately advance space travel.

How does that work, exactly, Mr NASA Man? What advanced technologies have the muslims invented...um...EVER? (Yes. Arabs invented a lot of mathematics, but that was long before they MoHamEd showed up.)

Are the muslims the reason why we aren’t going back to moon? After all, Allah was the pagan moon god long before MoHamEd wrote a novel about him. Maybe they don’t want us walking around on Allah’s face.

Just...damn!

There is no science fiction or fiction story I’ve
read that has prepared me for where the USA is now,
and the direction along, and velocity at which,
it is traveling to its inevitable destruction.

I realize that this is an interview with Al Jazeera so it is basically a throw-away for it’s intended audience. That being said, NASA was chartered for the advancement of Science and Technology and it is a reflection of the thrust of this Administration that the senior bureaucrat would utter such a fatuous statement at the time of our 234 national birthday. BLECKKKK!
