My list would be completely different.

What I see in this interview with Daniels is the evidence that he has a world view firmly grounded by the great conservative thinkers of the last century.

Some Freepers probably think he is too "intellectual".

Not me!!! I absolutely want a President who has read deeply (for example) Hayek and can articulate why he is relevant for today.

I would keep Friedman, but Capitalism and Freedom. I haven't read Free to Choose.

I would have Russell Kirk, Edmund Burke, Harvey C. Mansfield.
