80s had a lot of “Coming inflation” ... when we were conquering it.

I am not impressed in the doom-sayers after the financial crisis. I am impressed with those who figured it out prior.

Same here. I don’t know if the elections are really going to matter. The only way to get rid of 0bamacare, for example, is to de-fund it and I don’t know if the Republicans will have the guts to do that or the numbers to over ride vetoes.

What happened to house prices, labor, food, fuel and energy costs from the 80’s to now? Supposedly we had near constant productivity improvements, so all those costs went down, right?
