“TEL AVIV – CNN’s senior Middle East affairs editor is leaving the media company after it was reported she professed her “respect” for an anti-American Islamic extremist who was an ideological guide to the Hezbollah terror group and who was accused of masterminding a 1983 attack on U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut that killed 241 Americans.
“Sad to hear of the passing of Sayyed Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah ... one of Hezbollah’s giants I respect a lot,” CNN senior editor for Middle East affairs Octavia Nasr wrote on her personal Twitter page earlier this week.
Now Mediate.com obtained an internal CNN memo which says of Nasr: “We believe that her credibility in her position as senior editor for Middle Eastern affairs has been compromised.”

Israeli Guns Lost on U.S. Visit

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s security detail lost four high-powered semi-automatic guns over the weekend when its luggage was rerouted across the U.S., only to resurface without the weapons.
Members of the prime minister’s security team flew on Israeli airline El Al Sunday into John F. Kennedy airport in New York, in advance of Mr. Netanyahu’s visit with President Barack Obama, according to officials with knowledge of the incident. After passing through customs, the Israeli security officers checked two hard carrying cases—one containing four .40-caliber Glock handguns and the other containing three Glocks—before boarding an American Airlines flight to Washington, the officials said.

It's a joke! Yes, there will be articles posted and talked about. But a university? No! The Beck radio show crew had a lot of fun yanking the chains of the MSM, et al. who are aghast at such a thing.
To yank the chains a little harder Beck has started a hospital -- all services to be included for the same low monthly price of Beck's on-line video stuff.
I remember when Melanie Morgan was still at KSFO and she and others had just returned from Iraq. All her very expensive audio / video equipment was stolen -- she contacted the airlines with little result and then began talking about it on air.
I pretty sure it was JFK.

How that many going off unemployment affects the unemployment rate remains to be seen -- if few are judged to be looking for work that should lower the official unemployment rate.
