I just felt like the point needed to be made. Free Republic gives those who are conservatives and care about our country a voice. I knew our resident “weenies” would find their way into this thread. But it looks like made it very late..

She quit her job as executive officer/ Governor of AK once the pressure was too much (we can in no way shape or form have such a person as CinC in these dangerous times).
Her politics are solid. She is a good woman. She reaches out to a segment of America that needs reaching out too....But she is not ready to be POTUS/CinC. We should have learned that lesson right now watching the current disaster in office....

You fall into the trap of thinking that just because you and some other people on a website happen to like a possible candidate that other people should automatically. And, if they don’t follow that thought then you make the unsubstantiated leap that we are repeating leftist talking points.
If she inspires you then hey, that’s your choice.
No Republican was electable back in 1976 thanks to Nixon. In 1980 Reagan was the best choice. He appealed to a wide audience of people.
Palin doesn’t inspire any such confidence save for her Kool-aid guzzling groupies.
As for the notion of anything being "debunked", regarding Mrs. Palin and my thoughts on her..... There is nothing to be debunked. The Lady cut and ran (for whatever larger reasons/excuses people want to create) her duty as Governor. The premise / reality is her job as Governor was going to be much more difficult. Instead of facing those difficulties head on....she quit. That is the last trait we need in a CinC at this time.
Great attributes Mrs. Plain has that can do the Conservative movement much good....Hopefully her ego is big enough not to make her think she is ready for POTUS/CinC come 2012. She along with Huck are the only two sure losers Vs Obama.

I’m ambivalent about your last sentence right now. But I think Palin is quite capable of figuring out what she can do to oust the Usurper Onada and return America to its Constitutional and capitalist roots. She has, afterall, been quite effective at charting her own political track so far.
