Stay Alert..(Those promoting Sarah Palin as RNC chair may not have good motives)
me

Posted on 07/07/2010 8:34:55 PM PDT by se_ohio_young_conservative

Stay alert to those who are promoting the idea of Sarah Palin to replace Michael Steele at the RNC. This is an attempt to derail her nomination for the Presidency. There are some out there in the conservative blogosphere that believe the MSM line on Sarah Palin. When they promote the idea of her replacing Steele, they are really saying that she shouldn't run for President.

We may need to hit the nail hard with the strongest hammer we can find. Stuff her down their throats. But we are going to get her the nomination. She deserves the nomination. And then we can unite in time to take back the White House.

I remember the vicious daily attacks on Reagan (and Thatcher). I was at school, and in the UK, and the loudest voices in the media yelled incessantly about how hateful and mean and stupid these right-wing leaders were.

Anybody who says Palin cannot be elected because she is hated by the media is acting as a shill or useful idiot for the left.

The only people you should ever consider electing are the ones hated by the media.

The more hate, the more you should support them.

I repeat an earlier post of mine. The only choice to run the RNC is Ann Coulter. Why, because I love watching LIB heads explode. And she is the only person who fires right back at LIBs with more outrage than they can muster.

Ya know, this concern over whether or not Palin walks into a trap implies that she isn’t smart enough to figure this out. I for one think she has the smarts to figure it out. And I think she is more than smart enough to take political advantage of it.

Without holding public office, without the support of the RINO GOP and without a regularly scheduled TV show she has managed to position herself as the preminent conservative politician on the national scene. She has, by virtue of the above and what she actually did as Alaska governor, established herself as the most viable conservative candidate for US president in 2012.

Spoken like a true elitist libertarian. It is instructive that you provide nothing that supports your statement.

Please explain why there are never enough seats in any venue she chooses to appear to hear her speak?

It sort of depends more than a little as to who her opponent will be. People who wouldn’t normally vote for her might if Barack Obama continues to botch things at the current rate. OTOH, if BO becomes an election liability, the Dems will ditch him pronto. And who will be up then? Dear old Hillary?

Then why is Sarah the #1 target of the marxist media and their partners, the Marxist/DNC party?

They know she represents the best of Reagan & Thatcher and are truly fearful of her winning in 2012. The marxists have thrown everything at her and her family and she remains strong, determined and the leader of the Conservativeness movement to take back America from the communists.

Your statement is, at the very least, defeatist or worse by acting on behalf of a RINO candidate like Myth Romney.

Ah I remember those days. It always amazed me the sheer hatred people had for Thatcher (in particular). The sheer loathing was frightening. And with their staggering lack of self-awareness, the reason for all this vitriol was that she was hateful and mean and stupid.

She is unelectable for the office of the President. A majority of people will not vote for her.

I find it extremely discouraging that some on our side repeat leftist taking points without any basis in facts. *shakes head*

On topic, if anyone thinks the MSM isn't the enemy is ill informed at best.

Palin is the real deal, no doubt about it. The darling of the right. But that's the problem (electorally).

Unfortunately, even if she gets 100% of Republicans behind her (and she won't), that won't be enough to win. After all, she's also likely to get nearly 100% of democrats against her. That means that to win the presidency she is going to have to appeal to the independents who would hold the balance of power, and they won't be as taken with her as conservatives are. She might be too far to the right for them.

Perhaps she (and we) might be better off with her replacing Steele. She might very well be more effective as chair of the republican party.

Why is the media STILL so fascinated with Sarah Palin?

They have attempted to destroy her for THREE years and it hasn’t worked.

Why do they not just ignore her and let her fade away?

Every time she is a news item - the ineptitude/malignancy of BO is compared to Sarah and she wins.

Wassup????

The left (and the MSM) see Sarah Palin like another Ronald Reagan coming down the tracks and they are helpless to stop that train.

Why on earth?
Perhaps because most of the members of Free Republic are genuinely exited by Sarah Palin

LOL! THAT has to be the greatest Freudian slip yet!

[Palin] has less experience than Obama

Who would ever believe such an over-the-cliff statement?

Let's just think for a moment what Barry-the-rabble-rouser ever did before 2009 that exceeded 1) helping run a commercial fishing business, 2) being on a city council, 3) mayor of Wasilla, then 4) being the very-well-liked governor of a state.

AnnnnnnnnnnnG!   So much for nonsensical statements!

Regardless of Palin’s political virtues or lack thereof, frontpaging Palin worshiping vanities is wise?

This belongs in "bloggers/personal", not "News/Activism" but as we have seen over the past months here Brother Pissant, the FR rules and guidelines on posting articles mean nothing anymore.

"It does matter who Palin supports. If she supports traitors, she’ll lose my support..."

One person’s opinion.

A lot of you people bemoan the loss of Ronald Reagan and wish for another person that effectively conservative.

Then, when one comes along, you don’t recognize her. What do you mean “She can’t be elected?”

They called Reagan a B movie actor and “Pruneface”” and said he couldn’t govern.

Let’s not defeat ourselves before we get to the starting line.

Duncan Hunter perhaps? How exactly, are (either) of the Hunters, that different from Governor Palin?

Well, they're not endorsing McCain, are they?

Why does this remind me of “ Obamacare” ?
