Obama - If I’ve lost BABS, I’ve lost America. (Just a fat cracker anyway.)

The elite may have turned away from Obama but I sure don’t want ‘em on my side.

Only because he’s being perceived as not moving Left enough fast enough.

None of these “elite” people are pro-American Exceptionalism, neither are they pro-Constitution.

You know what *I* think Babs got out of the lecture?: "Blah blah blah, blah blahblahblahblah, radical blah blah blahblahblah..." Someone probably reccomended this guy to her, and she thought he was another loyal Leftist.

This is an intra-Marxist spat.

Our corporate tax rate, on a worldwide competitive basis, is just not competitive. Taiwan is lowering their rate to 20 to 15 percent in order to stay competitive with Singapore. These countries have made it their job to attract industry. You don’t get that sense here in the United States.”

Of course not. This administration's top priority is to loot the treasury and fool the gullible.

The president put all his trust in the wrong economic team—an economic team that didn’t understand what was happening.

His theroretical-acedemic economists have had a brief space walk at the expense of the nation and most of the world. Its now time to get the practical economists back to work. That's not what Obama wants but what Obama wants will never function realistically..

It stands to reason that a free economy will go in cycles. A command economy will go AWOL.

If Brolin and Streisand are for it, I’m going to have to rethink this capitalism thing.

“If you’re asking if the United States is about to become a socialist state, I’d say it’s actually about to become a European state, with the expansiveness of the welfare system and the progressive tax system like what we’ve already experienced in Western Europe,” Harvard business and history professor Niall Ferguson declared during Monday’s kickoff session, offering a withering critique of Obama’s economic policies, which he claimed were encouraging laziness.

“The curse of longterm unemployment is that if you pay people to do nothing, they’ll find themselves doing nothing for very long periods of time,” Ferguson said

He praised “really radical reform of the sort that, for example, Paul Ryan [the ranking Republican on the House Budget Committee] has outlined in his wonderful ‘Roadmap’ for radical, root-and-branch reform not only of the tax system but of the entitlement system” and “unleash entrepreneurial innovation.”

I'm hoping more and more each day that Paul Ryan will run in 2012.

I don’t get this at all.

Isn’t this what they wanted and voted for?

Did they not realize the Dem party they adored was socialist to the core, and has been ACHING to get its hands on this marvelous economic machine to change it to its liking?

Did they not vote for ‘Hope and Change’?

Corporate taxes up? What has Obama ever said that would lead them to think he was pro business?

I think I’m in the Twilight Zone.

I’m sure Babs will be bloging her views, just as soon as she learns how to spell “Obama”.
