I am enoying the book although I almost never read fiction. It started out entertaining, and there are parts that are very thought provoking. One can also see Glenn’s humor throughout-usually in the conversations betweent the protagonist and his love interest.
Concerning the Black Panther: Freedom of speech for some, I guess. The times, they are a-changing.
I wonder how the “hopium” smokers are enjoying all this change. (I read that somewhere)

On a FR thread overnight there was talk of a coming civil war. I'm afraid that's correct. Some were trying to imply Beck was instigating it but AFAIK he's never preached violence.
Quinn and Walter WIlliams have done more suggesting surrounding Federal cuildings with State national Guard or as Jim often says it's time to march not into DC but into CONGRESS and take it over.
AS an aside I remember having a FR thread pulled years ago. I was one of the first to post the Red State/Blue State map and my comment asked if the map showed the battle lines for a new civil war.
Jim R personally asked me not to imply that sort of thing.
Interesting to me that now the situation of The Republic has deteriorated to the point where those kind of posts are becoming common.
