One idea for raising taxes to pay down the debt is the bill introduced this February by Rep. Chaka Fattah (D-Pa.). His Debt Free America Act (H.R. 4646)

And the debt would NOT go down.....They would just see more revenue coming in as another excuse to SPEND MORE!

Idiot coworker came in my office screaming about how they need to kill the black bear that is running around in my hometown. We live in a rural, heavily wooded area, and he hasn’t hurt anyone. He did injure a hiker who poked him with a stick two weeks ago, but has been spotted a million times over since then without incident. She said we should kill all the bears.

Uhhh, yeah. Black bears are nonagressive typically, and rarely attack, unless provoked.

Stupid hiker in Red River Gorge, trying to get a picture. He said he hit the bear with a stick after the bear turned toward him; But he had taken a ton of pictures, and I bet he was trying to get the bear to stand up or something.

That reminds me, we have a feral Chausie walking around our neighborhood at night. I thought it was a fox at first. I sure wouldn’t want my 62 pound retriever to run into it, it looked like it was over 30 pounds.
