'Glenn Beck': Who Is Charles Ogletree? (another Obama radical exposed!)
FoxNews.com ^ | 7/7/2010 | Glenn Beck

OK. We go back now to 1991. NAACP approached Ogletree and asked him to make a case for the NAACP to support Clarence Thomas. They asked him, can you write something? Because even though he was a conservative, at the time, the NAACP wanted to support him because he was black.

Ogletree instead ended up writing a 30-page report that was a key to the NAACP's eventually vote of no confidence. In this report, it says, "Thomas's revealed hostility to principles affecting civil right protection, including the use of meaningful remedies for both past and present discrimination." In other words, a simple translation of that is he's not a supporter of affirmative action.

OK. Well, the guy who wrote this for the NAACP later became the attorney for Anita Hill.

Ogletree is also in to the redistribution of wealth. Socialist?

His Harvard bio also says he is the co-chair of the Reparations Coordinating Committee, which he joined in 2000 — in the year 2000. Now, this is a group pursuing a lawsuit to win reparations for descendants of slaves.

The old Black Panthers and the New Black Panthers call for that. He was part of this. OK, or at least he edited to the newspaper. I'm sure he was uninvolved other than that.

This past May — this is where it gets interesting — Ogletree received an award from the Ella Baker Center for Social Justice. Ella Baker, where have I heard that before? Oh, yes. Yes, that's right. That's right. Ella Baker — who started that? Van Jones. Also, the Black Liberation Army. Black Liberation Army. Black liberation — oh, black liberation theology — that's right. That's Jeremiah Wright theology.

Ping!

Here's more of what we were chatting about on an earlier thread re: Clarence Thomas, Glenn Beck, the NAACP, and Charles Ogletree.

I heard somewhere that the NAACP originally wanted to stay neutral on the Clarence Thomas issue but that their lib donors ordered them to get up and tap dance or else their gravy would be cut off.

They hate Beck for exposing these people. Don’t kid yourselves, they want authority over content of the internet even more than they want our guns.

If you can stop information that will anger people into resistance,,, and prevent any resister from spreading his beliefs, the guns essentially become useless artifacts in closets.

He sets the left up to make fools of themselves like the time he threw the fake frog in a pot of boiling water and acted like he made a mistake and threw the live one in.

PETA went ballistic and glenn had the whole uncut segment ready to go showing that the frog was fine.

For all the idiotic ramblings of the klan, I don’t believe I’ve ever heard them call for genocide like the black panthers.

Thanks for the ping. It is just heartwrenching to find out that the NAACP wanted to support Thomas, but this one hate-filled bigot derailed them. There is so much evil in the Obama administration, it’s almost overwhelming. Thankfully God is keeping track of it all, and He will have the last word.

"old Black Panthers and the New Black Panthers

http://www.blackpanther.org/newsalert.htm

There Is No New Black Panther Party: An Open Letter From the Dr. Huey P. Newton Foundation

"In response from numerous requests from individual's seeking information on the "New Black Panthers," the Dr. Huey P. Newton Foundation issues this public statement to correct the distorted record being made in the media by a small band of African Americans calling themselves the New Black Panthers. As guardian of the true history of the Black Panther Party, the Foundation, which includes former leading members of the Party, denounces this group's exploitation of the Party's name and history. Failing to find its own legitimacy in the black community, this band would graft the Party's name upon itself, which we condemn."

Clip

"The question the Foundation raises, then, is who are these people laying claim to the Party's history and name? Are they reactionary provocateurs, who would instigate activities counterproductive to the people's interests, causing mayhem and death? Are they entertainers, who would posture themselves before the media, and, according to numerous sources, with empty guns, to spin gold for themselves? Are they, given the history of their late-leader Khalid Muhammad, a group of anti-Semites like the very Ku Klux Klan they allegedly oppose? What is their agenda?"

Beck made a comparison to the white league which is a far better comparison for the black panthers.

From Wiki

>>The White League was a white paramilitary group started in 1874 that operated to turn Republicans out of office and intimidate freedmen from voting and political organizing. Its first chapter in Grant Parish, Louisiana was made up of many of the Confederate veterans who had participated in the Colfax Massacre in April 1873. Chapters were soon founded in other areas of the state and in New Orleans. During the later years of Reconstruction, it was one of the paramilitary groups described as “the military arm of the Democratic Party.” Through violence and intimidation, its members reduced Republican voting and contributed to the Democrats’ taking over control of the Louisiana Legislature in 1876.<<

As always, wiki is just a starting place so its wise to look further.

While racism has always been around, it is ironic that racist Black thugs now shout about hating and killing white people when, 50 years ago, a lot of racist white thugs were shouting about hating and killing black people.

As for the Obama administrations connections to these racists that Beck points out, they are real enough - and I'm not surprised at all. Apparently, there is a large sub-set of educated, financially successful Blacks, especially in the colleges, that are little more than racist grievance-mongers seeking 'reparations' and, more to the point and at the bottom of all the lofty rhetoric, revenge on the 'white man' for wrongs committed against 'their people', both real and, in most cases, imagined. So much for 'racial harmony' under Obama. Is anyone truly shocked?

So Beck is just discovering Ogletree.

I’ve long known of him and that other rabid anti-American professor, Cornell West. Skip Gates part of the cabal.

No doubt there are others that just don’t come to my mind at this minute.
