Isn’t there another Rockefeller who can move there and run?
Why doesn’t he just appoint himself — rather than submit to an election?
I believe the special election would be to finish the kkk’s term. It is up in 2012 whether someone is elected or appointed.
If we can not pick up seats in a conservative state like WV we are doomed. Why does this state vote for republicans for POTUS and rats for congress? More ‘conservative’ people wanting goodies over principal, I think. Sad and we argue about RINO’s in CA, the second most liberal state, but ‘oh well’ about a far left socialist rat pig from a state like this.
Our country is doomed.
He promised that he would not do that. Not that such a promise has ever stopped a politician, but I suspect that they have internal polling that shows that Manchin would pay a price when an election finally comes around.
What is happening right now is all to the advantage of the Democrats, or it wouldn’t be happening.

T.V. commercials. And ‘star’ names like Rockefeller, They see the t.v. commercials and believe them. Never checking on a candidates past votes or past careers.
