“Among all voters nationwide, just 28% oppose passage of an immigration law like Arizona’s in their state.

Republicans and voters not affiliated with either major party strongly favor passage of a law like Arizona’s in their state and disagree with the Justice Department challenge. “

Wake up silly GOP! I think this party likes losing!

Whitman’s (McCain in a skirt!) new billboards in Spanish: I’m against Prop 187, AZ law
San Francisco Chronicle ^ | July 7, 2010 | Joe Garofoti

Posted on Thursday, July 08, 2010

A reader just sent us evidence of GOP guv candidate Meg Whitman’s latest outreach to Latino voters: A Spanish-language billboard saying she (would have) opposed Proposition 187 and opposes the controversial Arizona immigration law.

The billboard, spotted on Highway 99 about 2 miles north of Earlimart in Tulare County, says:

“NO a la Proposicion 187 y NO a la Ley de Arizona — Meg Whitman.”

I saw that news about Whitman. I wonder if she's taking a page out of the liberal's playbook and is just saying whatever she thinks she needs to in order to get elected.

Just a couple of days ago Bill Clinton indicated that even holding a leadership position in the KKK is fine as long as it was done for the purpose of getting elected.

This is so obvious among people I know. Legal immigrants are the most fired up about this issue. More than people born in the US naturally.

My thoughts exactly.

And I agree with the previous poster who said the numbers are probably a lot higher than that.
