I don’t care who wins as long as it isn’t BROWN.
If you don’t live here keep your ideas to yourself .
I lived in California my entire life until quite recently and I continue to have a financial stake in the state’s welfare. As a prior poster state, the problem is an insurmountable mathematical one of spending versus revenue. If Whitman wins the election, she will raise taxes and more taxpayers and business will flee the state, further reducing the revenue base. Neither she nor Fiorina have the principles or the sheer guts of Christie in New Jersey. Let’s have this conversation again next year. I think they both will be elected and they’ll both sell us out.
Note: Let’s also keep disagreements cordial. This isn’t the DU or Huffington Post.
There won’t be a dime’s worth of difference between Arnie and Meg. CA will continue to deteriorate until the electorate wakes up, if ever. Just from a practical viewpoint, it would be better to have that crisis point come sooner or later.
The whole country is going to have to change. And it is going to have to be radical change. Serving up one RINO after another - using the argument that slow death is better than quick death - only postpones the inevitable.
