A second time? That just makes me all dewy like. If they have to reinstate the charges that would be fantastic. Google Megyn Kelly in news and look at all the Libtard “news” articles about her. She has them pissing and moaning by the dozens.

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (AFP) – US President Barack Obama said Friday his policies had pulled America out of the most vicious economic dive since the 1930s, setting battle lines for mid-term elections in November.

Obama put the Republicans on notice he will vigorously defend his record, despite the fact many Americans do not yet feel the recovery he is touting, while economic data hints that the rebound may be slowing.

“Our first mission was to break the momentum of the deepest and most vicious recession since the Great Depression,” Obama said in the gambling hub of Las Vegas, wrapping up a two-day campaign-style trip.

“We had to stop the freefall and get the economy and jobs growing again.”

Obama used his appearance at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, to call on Congress to invest five billion dollars more in tax credits for green energy manufacturing firms, part of his plan for an alternative energy revolution.

After a brutal year featuring prolonged high unemployment and bitter political battles, Democrats had hoped to be reaping the benefits by now of Obama’s rescue policies.

But while the economy is posting solid growth and creating jobs again, the party has seen negligible political gains, with the jobless rate still at 9.5 percent, and confidence in the rebound ebbing.

If the economy dictates the course of elections, as usual, Obama and the Democrats could be in for trouble come November when all of the House of Representatives is up for grabs, along with a third of the Senate.

maybe so - like i said, i don't know enough to comment on it

but i think it is a sad day when an entire city has to go on lockdown because they fear an entire race might riot over (what might be) an injustice

my guess is that this would not happen if the victim was white

You know it wouldn’t happen with any other group of people.

But you have to understand that blacks are the only folks in history who have ever been wronged. /s

How apropos. I say conservatives call his bluff.

the doj was upset because trace gallager said the charges were dropped the first time - kelly recapped what really happened - and with the lawerly parsing, technically the doj was right - ALL charges were not dropped - 3 were dropped and the last was changed to a slap on the wrist

the second e/mail was about ‘there were no complaints filed by voters’ - she said again, technically true - poll workers and watchers complained and testified which was enough for conviction - there are voters willing to file if needed for conviction

WASHINGTON, July 9 - The largest U.S. labor group urged Congress on Friday to pass legislation to fight China’s currency practices, a day after the Obama administration again declined to label Beijing a currency manipulator.

The United States should also keep other options on the table, including a possible challenge of China’s currency practices at the World Trade Organization, Richard Trumka, president of the AFL-CIO labor federation, said in a statement.

Trumka said the Treasury Department’s decision ignored “the overwhelming evidence, including that in Treasury’s own report, that the Chinese government has systematically intervened in currency markets over many years to keep the renminbi undervalued by as much as 40 percent.”

He urged Congress to act swiftly to pass a bipartisan bill backed by Senator Charles Schumer of New York and 18 other senators.

Well, here is the original NBBP complaint:

Voter Intimidation Complaint

Here is a pic of Shabazz:

Video at link: http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=175817

Charges against three of the people at the polling place were completely dropped and this was all that happened to Shabazz:

Only one of four defendants, Samir Shabazz, faced punishment: a temporary injunction against appearing at Philadelphia polls with a weapon. The department stopped at the injunction and didn't call for criminal penalties, monetary damages or other civil penalties.

Injunction

JUDGMENT

AND NOW, this 18th day of May, 2009, in accordance with the accompanying Order, and the Court having this day granted the Government's motion for default judgment, JUDGMENT IS ENTERED in favor of the United States of America and against Minister King Samir Shabazz, enjoining Minister King Samir Shabazz from displaying a weapon within 100 feet of any open polling location on any election day in the City of Philadelphia, or from otherwise violating 42 U.S.C. § 1973i(b).

He read part of one of PJ's pieces.

In 1993, Washington Post columnist William Raspberry wrote a piece blasting Limbaugh for his "demagoguery ... his gay bashing, his racial putdowns." Like the Mississippi segregationists of his youth, Raspberry said, Limbaugh "is so good at ... tossing the raw meat of bigotry to people.... Limbaugh is a bigot." Eleven days later, Raspberry wrote a second column retracting the first. "Rush, I'm sorry," he began. He confessed, to his great credit, that the earlier piece had been written in ignorance. "My opinions about [Limbaugh] had come largely from other people -- mostly friends who think Rush is a four-letter word. They are certain he is a bigot. Is he?" Raspberry -- who by this point had listened to several hours of Limbaugh's shows and perused one of his books -- went on to answer his own question. Limbaugh might be "smart-alecky" and love "to rattle liberal cages," he might be "unrelenting in his assault on ... political correctness." But he was no more a bigot or hatemonger than Art Buchwald.
