I know many who are anti-mormonISM but none that are anti-mormon.

For the fLDS, it's polygamy.
And what supposed Mormon "scripture" & doctrine backs that up? (Doctrine & Covenants 132 -- NEVER rescinded or changed or deleted by the mainstream Mormons...it exists like an "old law" still "on the books").
Now compare Phelps' Westboro.
What defining characteristic is there for this group?
For the Phelps, it's picketing.
Is that mainline Christian "Scripture?" (Answer: NO!)
Secondly the Phelps is better defined as one extended family -- versus a "church." (That's about all its "church" is made up of).

Hey svcw...I try to always use the phrase Anti-Mormon/s/ism ... many of you say you don’t hate Mormons, but the nastiness of the comments I read (many times they are derisive, such as calling Joseph Smith “Joey Smith” or making fun of those sacred undergarments Mormons wear by calling them “Magic underwear”) makes me wonder sometimes of the posters true motivation...I don’t know if you personally do that...just a general observation...magritte

It is a question you should ask yourself "why am I not able/unwilling to defend what I believe, since I charge that the posts are incorrect."

My post #79 destroyed your entire premise of "hate" towards mormons (the people, since many of you are incapable of comprehending it's not about the people, it's about the doctrine).
