It feels like we are living in the novel ‘Atlas Shrugged’ to me, but instead of having some John Galts,Taggerts or Wyatt’s standing up to marxist tyranny, we have a country full of Wesley Mouches and Orren Boyle type corporate fascists. I have honestly been very disappointed in the private sector’s handling of Obama’s rampant lawlessness,marxism and thuggery. To steal Holder’s race baiting term for another purpose:...yes..we have become a ‘nation of cowards’.

“Neighbors who saw the package but didn’t want to appear on camera describe it as a box of chocolates that left inside a gift bag. One neighbor says there was a card attached that simply said, “Thank you.” It included the woman’s name, but it was misspelled.
“I can’t believe that anybody would do anything as terrible and tragic to a person like this lady,” neighbor Karen Gennity said.
Neighbors say the woman often performed random acts of kindness for her neighbors — perhaps one reason she thought this box of chocolates was a thank you in return.”
hmmmmm...the mystery continues. I still say some kind of eco nut.
The fact that it looked like a box of chocolates explains why the woman did not open it immediately. She probably didn’t want to be tempted to eat one and then caved in and decided to open it.
I was interested in the article on Michelle Malkin’s site that said the Michelle Obama was headed down to the Gulf. She didn’t show up, but my husband said that Kathleen Sebelius showed up with a whole entourage and then the staffers of the Senate committee on science and technology came through. Sebelius requested a briefing on the “A Whale” and a few other things, but the Senate staffers appeared to be on a boondogle, walking through without asking any questions, typing on their blackberries, not really interested in what they were seeing.

A letter saying ‘thanks’ and the fact that her name was mis-spelled kinda points to eco nuts imho. I hope the investigators are actually looking at that angle. I would not be surprised if some eco marxists are just working off of a list of ‘evil oil companies’ in Houston and the gulf. I have read some very violent stuff on eco snots web pages in the past.
It’s all for show. Obama and his administration want this spill to get worse so they can shove cap n tax down our throats. It’s perfectly evil.

She is just commenting that BP headquarters is in Houston....along with a whole bunch of other oil companies and venders. No biggie in my book. The likely suspect here IS an eco-nut just because the people worked for an oil company. Nothing wrong in speculating in the blogs until the truth comes out imho.

If we win the House in Nov., the communist will continue shoving everything down our throats. To counter that, the new House should, in a matter of days, DEFUND ALL the communist-passed bills. The order should be last passed bill is defunded first...no rules, no committees, no bills to be passed by the Senate and no signature of the Communist-in-Chief will be required. That will result in suffocating the communist agenda, period.
Next in line, no taxpayers' money to any Progressive institution or (fill in a name or a number!) such as ACORN or whatever they call themselves nowadays.
Last but not least, quick investigations, indictments, prosecutions and jail sentences to all what we saw under 0kaka's rule, i.e., bribes, discrimination and racism by the DoJ, etc.
Oh yes, while we're at it, outlaw Progressives and Communists, or whatever name du jour they choose, under say, a new McCarthy law!

I was unaware there was solder. From what I have seen, the wire was twisted onto the connections of alligator clips without solder, but I haven’t looked into it closely.
