Delicias...is believed to have escaped ... by using the garbage disposal system and [was] crushed by the garbage truck compactor. Where is R2D2 when you need him?

An appropriate location for rubbish. Just leave him there and cover him up.
Who writes this stuff anyway? It’s “trustee” not trusty.

There is at least a 10’ fall from the dumpster into the back of a dump truck! Right into a steel bed. And then, CRUSHED! Hope he enjoyed the smell as he was dying.

"Carlos Roberto Medina-Bailon, 30, of Delicias, Mexico, is believed to have escaped the El Paso County Detention Facility between 4:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. Friday by using the garbage disposal system and crushed by the garbage truck compactor." Don't you hate it when that happens?

Fits. Well, he does *now*.
I'll bet he was just crushed when he found the escape wasn't going to work.
What a horrible way to go.

So how long will it take for some ACLU ambulance chaser to SUE the prison for the death of this clown? After all, it was just so INHUMAN to have been crushed by the garbage truck!!

Why "fix" it? It seems to work just fine. From the pen to the landfill... What's the problem?
They should paint arrows on the floor leading right up to it, with bilingual signs saying "Escape Hatch - Entry Prohibited". Sooner or later the dump will get full, and they can just start another one.

“Well sir, it looks an awful lot to me like he stole more chains than he could swim the river with” commented the sheriff on the recent jail escape.
