Let’s forget for a moment about the allegations that Barack Hussein Obama Jr. is not a naturalized U.S. citizen and examine the incontrovertible facts surrounding the reporting of his mysterious birth in 1961.
The facts raise several interesting questions:

Trust me if GWB had been born in El Paso anywhere near the border, they would have moved heaven and earth to show that he was born in Mexico. In fact, they would have gladly deeded GWB's actual birthplace to Mexico and then started impeachment proceedings the next day.
Obama could have been born on Mars to Martian parents, and he would still get a pass.

The reason? they feel that reaction would be so strongly negative against them that it would poison the well on what they're trying to prove.....by condemning the POSOTUS for what he is doing to America.
I do not know if that is the right technique or not...it is what it is.
That is not the correct question. The correct question is whether he is a natural born citizen as required by Article I of the Constitution. There is a big difference.
This is why birthers are ridiculous. Who cares whether his parents were legally married? Illegitimate birth has nothing to do with the qualifications to be president, especially in this country.

Well, Texas was a part of Mexico way back when and the Mexicans have always claimed that Texas was taken unfairly from them by the Americans. So if the Dems were willing to give up the southwest they could cede it and then start proceedings. (Never mind the fact that Texas was a separate nation for about 10 years before joining the US - facts don't matter.)
I think this question, why Obama and the people around him have a propensity to deceive, is an important one. We can come back (or get to) the constitutional issues at a later time. Hey, they could even be related. (Smile.)

Once again, you are missing the point. Illegitimacy is not the correct question. The correct question is whether he is a natural born citizen as required by Article I of the Constitution. That is what 'birthers' are about, not illegitimacy. There is a big difference.

What would have been the consequences for Rush for fully covering the facts and news surrounding Obama’s eligibility? Answer: Probably some ridicule from the mainstream media.
Conclusion:
If Rush can't defend the Constitution ( all of it) now, in the face of a little ridicule from the mainstream media, there is ABSOLUTELY NO POSSIBLE WAY Rush Limbaugh will defend the Constitution in the face of real tyranny, jack boots at the door, and gas ovens roaring full-blast.

If this was delayed, then I understand a "delayed registration" could be accepted. On taking the child to Indonesia, Stanley Ann could have then made a delayed registration. This would pose a problem with the COLB. It states that the registration took place on August 8th 1961, only four days after the birth.
If the COLB is what it purports to be, then the proper procedures would have been observed. Now if there was some question about his actual birth, then whether or not he was born in Hawaii, could have delayed his nomination to run for the presidency.
It is possible the COLB was sharked up to prevent any awkward tactics by the Hilary Clinton camp. I find it incredible that Dr Fukino testified on February 23rd 2010 before the Hawaii Senate Committee on Judiciary and Government Operations, to this end.

It seems almost incomprensible that a bland description of what is being sought has been made by Dr Fukino. Obviously the COLB was as stated - "a copy or abstract of the records on file with the Department of Health" etc. Dated 2007.
By now, even the most cursory reading of what has been going on, would know that it is a long form, that is the document being requested. There is, of course a possibility that such does not exist. It is imperative the President clear this matter up to the satisfaction of the American public.
Yes. If that's all it is, then we are barking up the wrong tree, and this will go nowhere. Obama (or the media) should simply report the truth, however embarrassing it might be, and put the so-called "birthers" in their place once and for all.
That there was an attempt to deceive, right from the beginning, or that Obama may have grown up in an environment of deception (imagine not being told the truth about your own origins) is highly significant in the development of his character. That the President and his cronies continue to perpetrate this deception and cover up the facts says a great deal about his/their current state of mind. Why not just come clean with the truth and put the issue to rest?
Rather than come to terms with reality, the Obama team continues to deflect, deny, deceive, and demonize. This type of behaviour cannot be good for them or for the nation they are attempting to lead, and we as citizens should call them on it.
If we start from the facts, rather than mere speculation, things will begin to unravel. If there are constitutional issues, which there may well be, they will reveal themselves in due time, for the truth cannot remain hidden forever.
Rush has **proven** ( given how he has handled Obama’s eligibility) that his is, indeed, a phony and a coward! Phonies and cowards will never stand in the defense of freedom and the Constitution when faced with real tyranny. If you don't believe that, you are deluding yourself.
If Rush can't defend all of the Constitution, when the only thing he faces is a little ridicule from the mainstream media, rational people should conclude that Rush will NEVER defend it in the face of brutal tyranny.
The man obviously cares more about his bank account that he does the Constitution. In the face of real tyranny we should expect ( given Rush's behavior with Obama’s eligibility) that he will instead join with the fascist oligarchy.

If it were the latter, why does Obama not simply state the facts and put the issue to rest? He was only a baby. It was his parents' deception, not his.
However, if he thinks that by denying the truth about his birth, the issue will simply go away, he is continuing to deceive himself and others. That is dangerous for the whole country.
I saw a long form of a birth certificate placed on the Internet. The owner had redacted virtually everything except the name of the hospital and title of the obstetrician. What stood out was the fact he was born in Hawaii. This included the date of birth.
Speculation would be rife if the President or the President's advisers redacted any such personal information. Still, Barack Hussein Obama I born at (name of hospital) in Hawaii, August 4th 1961 and the obstetrician, would be sufficient.
Well put Mark Levin under the bus as well (given Levin’s behavior with Obama’s eligibility). I’m sure there are many more.
