I am an animal lover and I am used to having animals love me back. I just got back from feeding the neighbors dog and cat while they are away. The daschund threatened to kill me for trying to take his ‘free range’ treat away from him (I have no idea what he found to eat) and the cat gave me a hiss of contempt when I asked him if he wanted to come inside for the night. So, I just can’t imagine what it is like to ‘deal’ with an armed monkey who isn’t in a ‘good’ or ‘obedient’ mood.

I have a rule in raising mine “Don’t ever tease the Dachshund”(I repeat this out loud to self)
My doxie has two big ole labs to run/wrestle with.
Smart lil dogs. I lucked out my lil man is not a barker/biter as some can be.
Don’t take it personally you were going up against a breed of dog that are historically Badgers hunters. : )
