I disagree with Truman. Slavery should not exist, it's an abomination that God regulated because of human wickedness. I also think Truman should stop beating his wife.

Actually what trumandogz posted only applies to Hebrews owning Hebrews. And only if they sold themselves to you. It says nothing about freeing slaves of other races.
