For all reading this, below is a link to the Ambassador’s blog. On July 9 she removed the “offending” entry and posted a half-a$$ apology. So far the comment area to that posting is empty. I’d like her to have to read why and how we were offended. Remember, this guy she admired was involved in the bombing of the Marine Barracks in Lebanon so how about we load all salvos and let loose? I can’t do it from this computer but I will later in the day.

Thanks for the helpful tip, Joyjoyfrom NJ. Here's my comment - just in case Ms. Guy throws it down the googy-chute and doesn't publish it. Hope it inspires you when you add your own!

In your defense of "The Passing of a Decent Man" you claim to have "no truck with terrorism" yet you go on to praise a "controversial figure" who clearly had "a truck with terrorism" given his role in sending trucks loaded with explosives into barracks containing American and French peacekeeping troops. 299 of those troops were killed and scores of others were left wounded.

You breathlessly laud a man whose idea of religious outreach consisted of advocating the extermination of the Jews, denying the Holocaust and praising suicide bombers and call him a "controversial figure".

Where I come from that makes him more than a "controversial figure" that makes him a radical Islamic terrorist/mass murderer.

You say you have spent most of your career in the Arab world trying to combat terrorism. Thanks a lot. We can see how that's all worked out.

Ms. Guy, in my opinion removing your comments from your blog is not the answer. Removing you from your post is.
