Yes, but they do seem to be falling into a pattern. There is (1) the cops' version of what happened versus (2) everyone else who saw it.Believe me, I know. I've been here about ten years and have seen my share, but I'll wait until all of the facts come out first.
---haven't seen a writeup on it recently, but several years ago Metro had a record of over a hundred shootings without a "mistake"--including the guy dribbling a basketball (whose pregnant girlfriend became a near millionaire).
--only officer I recall who got in serious trouble over a shooting incident was the one who got all messed up and went out with a buddy and did a drive-by shooting--he is still serving time, I suppose---
