In my only interaction with the NAACP here in Atlanta, I had called them back in 1996 to find out what they were going to do about the police arrest of Alan Keyes to prevent a black man from participating in a Presidential Election Debate. The NAACP informed me that they do not get involved in poltical issues. True story.
