Yes, he concedes, the DOJ’s decision to drop the Panthers case is a legit story...but absent a formal finding that it was part of a program of bias inside the Department, the relentless coverage feels like racial scaremongering.

As usual, Juan Willimas makes no sense. How are we supposed to get "a formal finding that it was part of a program of bias inside the Department" unless the press brings it to light?

And this attitude from Juan Williams is key. With respect to the Bush Administration (hell, with respect to ANY Republican or conservative), did NPR, CNN, WashPost, or ANY MSM outlet wait for "a formal finding" from a Republican administration that wrongdoing occurred before giving a story coverage?

The double standard expressed by him is breathtaking.
