"Is Your DNA Sexy Enough?" (Did not want to use full title for obvious reasons).

"CBS) You don't have to be beautiful to birth a beautiful baby. At least that's the thinking behind a new virtual sperm and egg bank launched by BeautifulPeople.com, an online dating service for good-looking people.

The "fertility introduction service" aims to link wanna-be parents - handsome or homely - with good-looking sperm and egg donors who have registered with the site. The goal? Create a kid whose good looks stop traffic.

"Every parent would like their child to be blessed with many fine attributes, attractiveness being one of the most sought after," the site's managing director, Greg Hodge, said in a written statement. "For a site with members who resemble Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Angelina Jolie you can imagine the demand.""

A friend sent me this today. I guess women will be wanting Twilight look-a-likes? Is this the next stage of materialism? Is this what the days of Noah were really like?

If the people in the picture are the “beautiful people”, we are in big trouble!.  The one guy looks like an even more effeminate version of Michael Jackson.

What happens if your kid winds up looking like Rosie O’Donnel ... like, what if her eggs were deposited in the Angelina Jolie bucket by mistake? Do you get a refund or something?

Also, what kind of sick, putrid, pile of garbage neanderthal would use a service like this? Seriously, this should be a front to filter out unfit parents from society. If you sign up for this service, you are clearly trying to have a child to use simply as an accessory ... like a handbag or gloves. You should immediately be castrated. End of line.

Idiots. Two pretty people can have children that are not. Or can have children that are sociopaths or have other bad genetic combinations. UGH UGH UGH. I so hate people who try to play God.

As that great philosopher Loretta Lynn once said, “You’re the Reason Our Kids are Ugly.”

Oh, really? This numb has been watching waaaaay too much TV. Uh, I’ll take the DNA with the brains in it, thank you.

I have an excerpt from that book stuck under the glass of my desk at the office. Gets some really crazy reactions (it is the part on Alphas, Betas, Gammas, Deltas and Epsilons). Some say I am elitist ...and maybe I am. :)

Beauty is really in the eye of the beholder. How many hollywood stars would look that great if they weren’t famous and you met them in a bar? Take away the botox, air brushing, fake this and that.... you got a normal person. I tell my kids that God made us all in His image and likeness and we are all therefore beautiful. However, youth fades and intelligence remains. I will also take the DNA with brains.

"Initially, we hesitated to widen the offering to non-beautiful people," site founder Robert Hintze told the Vancouver Sun. "But everyone - including ugly people - would like to bring good-looking children into the world, and we can't be selfish with our attractive gene pool."

This guy needs the smug smacked out of him. Line forms behind me.
