The liberal group Think Progress has fellow liberals all excited today with a video that purports to document alleged pervasive racism at Tea Party rallies.
The fifty-three second YouTube video contains about forty-four seconds of racist or bigoted statements or images. Out of the millions who participated in the thousands of Tea Party rallies over the past year-and-a-half, the video features footage or photos of fifteen 'bigoted' people. They even throw in a gratuitous shot at Glenn Beck with a photo of a woman holding a sign that simply says "Thank God--There's Glen (sic) Beck!"
Inadvertently acknowledging a shortage of Tea Party racists, the video repeats footage of five white men making racist statements. One of the 'racists', who is filmed saying Obama is "too black" to be president, is standing with his black wife, daughter and son.
Two of the others express hatred of Mexicans and "wetbacks." Another flatly states he is a proud racist while another yells about Obama's "Afro-Leninism."
There are a few segments featuring bigotry. One snippet has a man calling another man a "faggot." A woman is shown expressing her fear of Muslims taking over America and a man is shown saying Obama should be sent back to Kenya. There are also a few still photos of racist signs and a t-shirt.
What the Think Progress video shows is that out of millions of Tea Party activists, there are a handful of goobers and racists who show up at Tea Party protests. None of the footage is of leaders of the movement or speakers at the rallies making racist comments.
Unlike, say, the NAACP which features racist speakers at their events.
Or the Democrat Party which elevates people with a history of racism and racist comments to high office like president and vice-president of the United States, president pro-tempore of the Senate, secretary of State, etc.

If fearing muslims will take over America and wanting obama sent back to Kenya makes you a racist, I plead guilty.
Harry Reid has said more racist things about obama that the entire tea party. And they just buried their racist klansman senator who used the n word on TV a few years back.

Say, Pelosi standing before a judge with the gavel handle sticking out of her rear and explaining in a “speech bubble” with a picture of her walking through the crowd of people holding that giant gavel.

Think Progress has taken down the original video and replaced it with the "go home wetbacks" video edited out.
Awesome catch! Someone should post this picture. Send it to Beck or Hannity, too. It’s ironic that some of the people they found are actually them!
OMG! These people are so vile. Thank God we have enough footage and patriots to call them out on this smear campaign. We need to stay vigilant.

I would bet money that all three sign-holders are phonies. Just wait until you see what shows up in Washington, D.C. at Glenn Beck’s 8/28 rally. I pray that calmer heads will prevail, but the Astroturf A**hole Element will almost certainly be there, as well as some far more unsavory characters. That’s how the Left has learned to operate: Alinsky Rules and no moral boundaries.
I guess its just me, and I understand that these were dirty little Hippie plants, but I don’t have a problem with the sentiment that “White People are Pissed”.

MSNBC uses a clips from a video of Tea Partiers getting rid of a racist to try and prove the Tea Parties are racist! UNBELIEVABLE! (Well, maybe not unbelievable considering MSNBC.)
