BP finally plugged ....

Don't you mean zer0? The fault goes to BP and all credits go to Zer0 - isn't that how it works?

Great Depression 2/Greater Depression, here we come.

“Its ultimate impact, however, will depend on the government regulators assigned to implement it.”

Can you say “political favors”?

The Senate's 60-39 vote came nearly two years after a financial crisis knocked the economy to its knees...

... due to earlier legislation that passed through the Senate.

God Help US! Another monstrous bill from this administration that you have to pass to find out what is in it. I know it will be reaching deep into my wallet, in addition to the tax hikes in 2011, 0bamacare tax increases and cap and tax which already passed the House once, I wonder if there will be anything left in my wallet.

Liars and thieves like Dodd and Frank should be impeached for what they have done to our economy for their role in the problems with Fannie and Freddie. This all needs to be fully explained in campaign mode before November.

It looks like two Republicans voted with the Democrats. Robert Byrd abstained.

Your kind of argument is getting very old. Stop trying to slap the hands of conservatives. We aren’t going to vote for the RINO types, so get used to it. The Dems can keep their leadership on committees. The Rs wouldn’t know what to do if they were in charge anyway.

Even if a wave of constitutional conservatives is voted into power in Nov?

You don't make any sense.

I used to think that frank and dodd should be in prison.

Now they should be deported.

This is economic terrorism.

Is Scott Brown the constitutional conservative you have in mind?, because he is the one you are saying we need to keep around. BTW, if the Republicans win the Senate, guess who becomes head of the Finance Committee? Olympia Snowe. Sure, I can’t wait.

Ummmm.....no, I'm talking about all the Tea Party candidates who are on the ticket for Nov.

Scott Brown is from MA (Kennedy's district)...you really think he is Tea Party?

"Congress sent legislation to President Barack Obama Thursday that imposes sweeping new regulations on Wall Street and creates new protections for millions of consumers."

This sort of "state media" groveling of the press is right out of Pravda.

If the AP "news wire" truly represented a "free press" then at a minimum the lead line would have remained honest and factual by saying:

"Congress sent legislation to President Barack Obama Thursday that imposes broad and massive new regulations on every kind of financial transaction imaginable in a bill that alleges to create new protections for millions of consumers but might simultaneously shrink consumers' access to financial services."

The new thing is to pass in the houses, then sign, then fix the differences with yet another bill after it’s already signed into law.

Completely unconstitutional.

The worst thing is that THREE RINOs voted for it. I’m sure they were happy to give cover to two Rats in tough re-election bids. RINOs think that if you add whipped cream and a cherry to a steaming pile of crap it suddenly isn’t really crap anymore.

How many thousands of pages of government control have the Rats slammed on us in the past 18 months? 10,000? 15,000? 20,000? I lose count.
