PHOENIX (AP) - Contributions to Arizona's fund to help pay for defending the state's law cracking down on illegal immigration now total more than $1.2 million, with donations over 25,000 people.
Gov. Jan Brewer's office says 24,767 online contributions totaling $1,149,0087 were made through Thursday morning.
Brewer's office says an additional $110,000 has been donated through mailed contributions. An updated number of mailed contributions was not immediately available, but there were more than 1,000 a week ago.
Brewer established the fund in late May, and donations surged after the U.S. Department of Justice filed a court challenge to the law on July 8.
More than 11,000 contributions totaling more than $500,000 were made the following two days.
$10 of that was sent by me. Wish I could of gave more.
This give me hope. I bet Obamanation’s IRS will figure out a way to tax it.
A television news report last night said a six figure donation came from a “white supremecist” group. The report went on to say that the donation was being investigated and if it turned out to be from that source it would be returned. I have yet to see any follow-up. Anyone else? And oh, by the way and off-topic, KFYI radio will have the Juan/J.D. debate on tomorrow at 7:00 p.m.
I donated and could have sent more if I hadn’t wasted some of it on Scott Brown.

Now we need to help with the border sheriffs’ defense. They are being personally sued by the ACLU and other open border groups.

Oh good, I was hoping they would. I don't get local TV
Yes. I saw this morning on the local NBC affiliate news that donations were coming in from all these kook groups. They, of course, made it sound like they were the ONLY source of $$$ coming in, and showed a David Duke site and some other white supremicist site to point out they had links on them to contribute to the AZ defense fund.
And to listen to KFYI this morning, JD might as well pack up and stay home. They were all over the poll that shows him losing by what, 61-19%? Someone finally pointed out the poll was questionable, but not until they had spent the full three hours commenting on how JD only has himself to blame because he made that infomercial.
Ping!

Scott Brown has had to have the fastest fall into corruption I have ever seen. He had nationwide support to win a special election in Massachusetts.
Now he’s the Democrats most reliable vote from the other side of the aisle. He votes for this 2700 page Financial Takeover bill that leaves out Fannie & Freddie. He’s ending filibusters that would stop or delay some of the garbage Harry Reid and his cronies come up with.
Agree with everything you said. I called Brown’s office today and let them know that, as a doner to his senatorial campaign, I will not be repeating that mistake again in 2012.
