Many of those who may lose business as a result of the travel restrictions related to the Obama visit depend on the summer tourism season for the majority of their income. One weekend may not seem like a big deal, but tell that to the restaurant owners who could lose thousands of dollars or more because customers cannot get to their establishment.

What I actually, honest to goodness, had in mind were some leftover souvenirs from the inauguration. Do you remember those ordinary quarters that somebody taped pictures of Obama on, and hawked for, iirc, fifteen or twenty dollars a pair? Throw the ones that never sold to the crowd. Surely the out of work fisherman and restaurant-people will cherish these timely keepsakes. /s
Considering that “Maine” has .005% of the US population yet has 2 “Senators” that have pretty much single handedly enabled the marxist takeover of the US Government, I don’t have a lot of sympathy for its residents.

I seem to recall the media giving Bush all kinds of grief about spending time in Crawford, or Walker’s Point bothering no one. Yet not a peep about the present occupier of the Executive Mansion vacationing here, there, and everywhere messing up folks vacation. Not surprised. Going to Bangor in the AM to get groceries at the Commissary next to BIA. I’ll be pissed if it messes up my schedule.
