I live in Maine, not far from where the Obamas are “vacationing.”
A local CBS affiliate just showed live coverage of Obama’s aircraft at the Bar Harbor / Trenton airport. The aircraft appeared to be similar to a DC-9.
Obama got off the plane and was chatting with dem Governor John Baldacci and his wife, who were there to greet him, and Mike Michaud, our local dem congressman. A black guy in a military uniform got off the plane, too, and two white men in suits, along with two other black men in suits, were carrying a number of pieces of luggage off the aircraft.
A black SUV was parked alongside the plane, with a couple of secret service guys leaning against the vehicle. The TV station then moved on to other local news stories. No sign of Snowe or Collins.
They remind me of a bunch of free loaders.....Poor Maine...
Maybe he can squeeze a round of golf in now that the hole is plugged?

REPORT FROM MT.DESERT ISLAND: The whole damned Island is just about shut down and the locals are PISSED!........roads blocked off...detours...no trucks...lobster fisherman and tourist boats disrupted...sight seeing flights shut down....Its a short season up here and its costing dearly....
I'm wondering how much is gonna be reported on the news....There gonna have to hunt hard to find someone that's happy with this invasion...
