Just goes to show that you can be the world's biggest loser and still score loot from your fans.

Can't wait for the *Crinton Chronicles on the big screen.

A clear indictment of American cultural mores and priorities, is the fact there are people who will actually pay to watch this detritus.

Young declined to speculate about which actors might play which parts.

Rachel Maddow would be perfect for the John Edwards role.

"I was really impressed by him and really impressed how he was focused on the tragedy of this rather than the tawdry."

LOL. The writer of the leftist infomercial "The West Wing" is going to write this, with John Edwards as the troubled and tortured billionaire hero gone sadly astray.

Good luck with that.

I don’t know who is a bigger scum bag. Edwards or this guy Young? Both are pieces of garbage.

Who do you think is the target audience? I don't know who would go see this.

John is just so handsome, who could they get to play him? And everyone loves him. And such a good guy. And did I mention handsome?

I don't think this movie will ever make it even to Lifetime...

Edwards is so vain they could probably get him to play himself. In lieu of that, David Duchovny or maybe Tiger Woods.

I bought the book used. Paid 1.99 for it. I felt like I needed to take a shower when I finished it. I wouldn't give a plug nickel to see the movie.

Having said that I think it's high time that the John & Elizabeth get what's coming to them.

Will the Edwards sex tape be a “bonus materials” item on the DVD?

LOL.

I guess you were curious SS, but golly you could have snagged the digital edition of something magnificent like Dicken’s David Copperfield for free!

The Pravda Media covered up this in 2008 election cycle and ran with unconfirmed rumors of an affair between John McCain and a lobbyist.

Mark Halperin, political news editor for Time, formerly for ABCDisney, defends this practice.

The media needs to be on the chopping block for their bias in the 2008 election. Every bit as corrupt as Dan Rather in 2004.

I borrowed the book. It was a page turner, that’s for sure. I have to say that I enjoyed it - maybe like one of life’s guilty pleasures - a book full of scumbags certainly including the author. My take home message was that we Freepers had the silk pony nailed with two exceptions

- He was even more craven and lying and more of an empty suit than certainly I even imagined.
- I did not realize that him and kerry hated each other. Makes sense now that I think about it, but didn’t know it at the time.
- The timeline is pretty amazing. A lot of the revelations started trickling out even while the primary season was in full swing. It’s not like algore who sort of lost it after he lost his election. In this case the Edwards disintegration pre-dated his losses at the polls.

Do you know what Perdogg, Andrew Young, and Carly Fiorina all have in common?

I guess after reading Laura Bush's book and Karl Roves book, I wanted something a little less intense. Young's book certainly filled the bill!

It is turning really hot outside so I start Levin's book this afternoon and I still have Millionair Next Door, Hidden Power (Presidential Marriages) and Galway Bay to go. All of them were bought used. The really low prices are great but since the sellers have no nexus to KS there is no sales tax either. And no, I do not feel bad about that!

Knowing Edwards, he is likely brokering the deal for his “cut”

A lot of Democrats were enthusiastic to make this guy Edwards President of the United States.
With this sordid scandal he’s probably improved his standing among Democrats.

You have it right about the Freepers nailing this guy. I was unaware of the hatred between the Edwards and Kerrys also. Still I wonder why Kerry never spoke up. I guess birds of a feather stick together!
