Now even the Brits admit it: Handing a get-out-of-jail-free card to a terrorist who brought down Pan Am 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, killing 270, was a mistake. It's about time.
But why stop there? London should now do everything in its power to get Abdel Basset al-Megrahi back from Libya and behind bars, where he belongs.
Washington should hold Britain's feet to the fire on that. And press Libya, too.
"The new British government is clear that Megrahi's release was a mistake," a UK envoy said this week, echoing a statement by a spokesman for Prime Minister David Cameron.
Megrahi was freed from a Scottish jail in August -- ostensibly out of "compassion," after doctors said cancer would likely kill him in three months. (If only.)

Abdelbeset Ali Mohmed al Megrahi — convicted in Scotland for his role in the Lockerbie bombing, which killed 270 people, but released last August on humanitarian grounds because terminal prostate cancer left him only three months to live — appears to be alive and well in Libya. The local Scottish council is now abiding by Megrahi's refusal to release his medical records. I guess the logic is, "Terrorism is forgivable and justice is expendable, but how could we ever violate the privacy of a mass murderer?"
Screw the Brits. Their country will forevermore be ruled by sharia and the muslim murderers they have so graciously welcomed into the country.

The British have NEVER been our friends! Now it appears that that island nation, in league with BP, engineered this release of a monster for economic gain!
They, along with the socialist Woodrow Wilson, dragged us into WWI and due to that ridiculous and murderous war, Hitler was created and we were again dragged into WWII which helped FDR appear as to have won the war against the depression.
BP’s fingerprints are all over this.
We need no other example that western govenments will not protect their citizens.
Why don’t we just put this guy back near the top on the Terrorist Watch List, provide a reward for his death or capture, and sanction his assassination. I would think the Mob would start to recognize a pretty good business in taking these guys out.

The victims’ families should sue the doctor who gave the 3 months prognosis. He was hired by the Libyan government and gave a pronosis that they wanted. Surprise, surprise.
