Hmmmmm.....

Lockerbie questions 'for British government' Kenny MacAskill said the questions to be answered were for the UK government Scottish Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill has said questions being asked about the Lockerbie bomber are matters for the UK government.

I've got a question: Apparently talks about a deal started in 2007. The deal wasn't done 'til '09. So what changed, the guy in the White House...?

British PM to Meet With Obama, Senators Over Lockerbie Bomber Release

The senators are Schumer, Gillibrand, Lautenberg, and Menendez.

The same senators who've sat on their butts and done nothing for the past year.

Wounded families suffer new pangs of injustice; want probe of BP role in Lockerbie bomber release

Question for these family members: Would you like to know what the Obama admin's role in the release was? I don't see any of the NYS's and NJ's senators asking, do you?

The US should have requested his extradition from the UK as soon as we got word of the pending release.

It is possible that under the socialized and inefficient medical system now in place in Britain that the Lockerbie bomber did have only a few months to live.

I've been told the particular combination of drugs with which he's being treated wouldn't typically be used in the UK. Don't know if that's true. The doctor who "diagnosed" him was essentially a GP, not a specialist. So yes, I think that's quite possible.

FWIW, I suggest a less innocent explanation. From the article at this link...

Doctor: 'Dying' Lockerbie bomber may live 10 years

While at the time of his release the Scottish government sited "firm consensus" among medical experts over al-Megrahi's condition, that agreement does not appear to exist, according to the newspaper.

Go figure.

Lockerbie bomber 'should have died in jail', says Cameron as he tries to quell growing row in U.S.

Note to Cameron: Really wanna apologize to the US? Blow the whistle on what the American admin knew and when it knew it. Otherwise your apology is an insult.
