PHOENIX Two more Latin American countries added their own objections Tuesday to Arizona's new immigration law.
In legal papers filed in federal court, Luis Gallegos, the ambassador to the United States from Ecuador, said his country wants to join Mexico in the fight to convince U.S. District Court Judge Susan Bolton to block the state from enforcing the law.
Similar to Mexico, Ecuador has a substantial and compelling interest in ensuring that its bilateral diplomatic relations with the government of the United States of America are transparent, consistent and reliable, and not frustrated by the actions of individual U.S. states, in this case, Arizona, Gallegos wrote. He said SB 1070 raises substantial challenges to relations between the two countries.
Gallegos also echoed the fears expressed by Mexico that the Arizona law will affect its citizens.
Ecuador has a substantial and compelling interest to ensure that its citizens are accorded human and civil rights when present in the United States in accordance with federal immigration law, he wrote. Ecuador is gravely concerned that SB 1070 will lead to racial profiling and disparate treatment of its nationals.
A virtually identical brief was filed Tuesday by Jose Perez Gabilondo, charge daffairs in Washington for Argentina.
Gov. Jan Brewer said both diplomats are wrong, both on the issue of racial profiling and the question of Arizona interfering with international relations. And she said both objections ignore the issues and problems of illegal immigration.
The bottom line is America and Arizona live by laws, she said. Brewer said SB 1070 mirrors federal immigration laws, giving state and local police tools to enforce them.
We will continue to live by those laws, she said.
The new legal filings were made in connection with the challenge to the law filed by attorneys for three civil rights organizations.
When do I get to sue these countries for their immigration policies?
Guess what, Ambassador? They are, in that case.
This BS needs to be nipped in the bud.
$$$$$$$ from the brow sweat of poor people, sent back to the home country to finance government corruption. Very important stuff here.

Seriously, let’s form a group to do exactly that.
2 Latin American “SH*THOLES”.
When did America’s business become any of their business? I object to them exporting their crime and poverty to Arizona. Those maggots need to stop being so corrupt and take care of their own citizens. Maybe then they won’t have to worry about finding another country to house and feed THEIR citizens.
Heck, let’s just let Hugo Chavez run America. It couldn’t get much worse.
They Can KISS my CHALUPA!
Like every other legal foreigner in Japan, I have to carry my Certificate of Alien Registration (gaijin tohokusho) with me at all times and present it to any government official who requests it at any time.
If I were to be stopped without it, I would be detained. If they were feeling nice about it, they would escort me to where it was, verify that I had one and that it was valid, and then arrest me for not carrying it as is required by law. The minimum result of that would be a severe fine.
If they were not in the mood to be nice about it, they would just haul me to the police station, hand me over to the immigration authorities who would put me in detention with all the illegals until it was all sorted out.
That’s in Japan. Other countries are even more strict about it than Japan is. The stories told about how Mexico abuses its illegal aliens are even worse.
Could this get more ridiculous? Holder clearly encouraged the preposterous Calderon intervention. Is he behind this whackadoodle stuff, too?
I trade stock options and I am very happy that Mexicans and South Americans are taking over this country because they are going to absolutely destroy this once great land.
Just look at their own countries as proof of this, what will be called, racist statement.
Please tell me what Mexico has contributed to the advancement of society besides Tequila and stage shows involving donkeys.
I will make an absolute fortune buying puts over the next one to two years....oh, and having a communist as the leader of the once, and no longer great, USA is also a major plus.
Remember that you read this here, the stock market is going to absolutely collapse over the next 2-3 weeks.....awesome.
MYOB.
Them, and the horses they rode in on!
Equador might want to have a talk with Mexico about the treatment of illegals in Mexico.
Mexico, Ecuador and Argentina do not have “standing” in our courts. Bolton should tell them that. If she does decided that they do have standing, our country is bigger trouble than most of us know. These three “countries” are aiding and abetting criminals by encouraging and assisting their citizens to break the laws of the United States of America.
Our laws are none of their _____ business. We aren’t the world’s mama.
It seems all countries are sniffing up each others asses.
You don't like it? Tough! Go pound sand and bark at the moon!
But we don't so they'll probably be invited to join the lawsuit the administration is mounting.
I'm shocked, SHOCKED, I tell ya! The dress-stainer's legacy lives on!
How do you say, “Go F*ck Yoursef” in Spanish?
***** what these ass*** think
Mine the damn border
An entire anti-American administration is behind this. They have no love for this nation. They loathe the achievements and history of this nation. Thanks to all the idiots who voted for “change” peddled by a moron who can barely read a teleprompter.
Please don’t say that. As the USSR and Nazi Germany showed, it can ALWAYS get much, much worse.
He is hard it get rid of.Like a stained dress
We will treat illegal immigrants from say Ecuador the same way they would treat Americans entering illegally.
Hey, the survival and success of liberty IS my business.
What? Oh, you were talking about the two sh*tholes described in the article?
Never mind. :-)
However the U.S. Government has recently began to alienate our rights..
The democrat and sometimes the republican parties see their job as alienating our rights..
It all started when the States became provinces instead of sovereign States.. (civil war)
HOW do you alienate RIGHTS?...
Answer; by making them permissions.. grants.. granted by Gov't not God.. Which exactly WHY?.. progressives HATE God..
How I would like to reduce these tin horn latin dumps to the condition they deserve. The Spaniards understood how to deal with them.
Hi, Silvie. You might be able to answer this one.
This is going to get dragged into the World Court before we’re done with it. International law is creeping into our courts.
Thanks the drooling bastards who suckle at the teat of the State. Every half-wit who voted for Obama did this to you, your family, your town, your state, and your nation. Hope and change, indeed.
. Ecuador is gravely concerned that SB 1070 will lead to racial profiling “
YOU LIE!
Vete pa’l carajo = Go to hell
Chingate tu = Go f*ck yourself
Cabron = A**hole
Care to put a number of what "absolutely collapse" means?
Well, the law-abiding citizens of the U.S. certainly hope so.
Just out of curiosity, do we object formally to portions of their internal state laws that we find objectionable?
Somehow, I doubt it.

Piss on them ! It is none of their business !
Ecuador Blows.
I’ve been there.
This is ALL thanks to Obama.
If we had a REAL president, the situation would have never gotten to this point.
The U.S.A. “has a substantial and compelling interest to ensure that its citizens” are safe from any and all invaders and that our sovereignty is maintained at all costs, to include the death of any and all invaders. So, if you wetbacks or any other trespassers don’t like the rules and potential consequences, STAY THE HELL OUT OF MY COUNTRY.
Damn this garbage is making me sick.
Down about 1000 over the next two weeks.
I say the month closes out around 9000 and around 8000 for the end of August. Nothing goes straight down, so, there will be corrections during this period.
Overall, I’d say it could approach 4000-5000 by sometime next year.
Golly, I find their opinions so...unqualified. No...insignificant...no...unsolicited...or...inconsequential..all the above. Definately. All the above.
"Our president would like to hold your balls."
Or, "Our president is your gay friend."
Or, "We hate White capitalists, too."
Or, "Let us pick your lettuce."
Ecuador’s greatest contribution to the US was Lorena Bobbitt and we all know how that worked out!
Yes, Lorena was from Ecuador.
“2 Latin American countries object to Arizona immigration law”
Well, I guess so! Where else are they gonna shove their crap?
“Remember that you read this here, the stock market is going to absolutely collapse over the next 2-3 weeks.....awesome.”
You’re probably right about the market—but the money you make on this probably will be devalued by a 10-1 ratio. Just a guess.
Then they can finally merge the US, Mexico and Canada claiming “they have no choice because we must merge the three in order to consolidate debt and make us more economically viable”—when all along, this was orchestrated for this very purpose.
