Expo president statement
Indiana Black Expo President and CEO Tanya Bell released the following statement late Saturday night:
“As our community celebrates 40 years of having one of the largest African-American events in the country, we are saddened by the reported incidents that occurred downtown this evening. Fortunately, none of the incidents resulted in life threatening injuries. We are still waiting to hear if the incidents were related and who was involved.
Nascar fans ? No
Motorcyle clubs? No
Thug culture taks over the Summer Celebration at the Indiana Black Expo.
Damn Tea Partiers...
This happened at an event called “Black Expo?” Sorry, but I’m past feigning surprise at this kind of news.

Seriously, it’s very sad when children are shot, but people need to take responsiblity and stop blaming innocent others.
I was one of about 5 crackers in an audience of 10,000 Blacks at the I think first Black Expo in Chicago in 1971. One of the greatest concerts I ever attended: Quincy Jones, Roberta Flack, Donny Hathaway, and Aretha Franklin
1971 was a life time ago. Of course, depending on the city and the event, I don’t mind being vastly out numbered because I can always get along with everyone unless they’re absolutely looking for trouble and I don’t put myself into those situations.
Those were REAL musicians.
Black culture no longer produces real musicians. They just produce thugs who bounce up and down while reciting profantiy and making weird gestures with their fingers when they’re not using them to hitch up their pants.
It was the fifth paragraph before it was mentioned at Black Expo.
WTH is Black Expo, anyway? Just a thug-a-thon orgy of blacks wilding in the streets for a couple days and nights? What are they celebrating? Being black thugs?
Don't know,, but I think there should be a White Expo,,,, see what happens.
Move “BLACK EXPO” to Chicago, it will fit right in.
