The statement is not posted at the Tea Party Express website so I had to excerpt it from CNN. Click the source link for the entire statement.

The only reason for the existence of the Tea Party Federation is to destroy the reputation of the original Tea Party. I’m totally convinced of this.

I disagree with that but I do agree with the idea that the silent majority needs to start stepping up and push the liberals out. There are approximately two to three times more conservatives. If they would get involved with our country, the liberals wouldn’t stand a chance.

And you would be absolutely right, it's an "alinsky-inspired" move to isolate and divide the TEA party movement.
Actualy TEA party patriots that have been pulled into this "FEDERATION" had better run away as fast as they can.
The "Federation" is the
Ross Perot of the TEA party movement, divide and conquer.
Don't lose focus...

It is bizarre that we are seeing this on CNN and not on their website and why is it up so late?
To: kristinn
Your own writing, or have you been getting lessons from Palin?
Great piece.
To: kristinn
Membership is not the issue.
The power of what is happening around the Tea Party is that citizens are acting together without top-down leadership. It is the nature of what made this country great.

I’ve caravaned across country several times with Mark Williams and the Tea Party Express and have attended hundreds of their rallies in nearly every state of the lower 57. I know that he is not a racist. Never heard of the Tea Party Federation. They are NOT my leader. In fact, they can kiss my ass!!

Thanks for posting this. The statement from the “Express” was good and timely. Really have my doubts concerning the motive of this so called “Federation”.

Members of any social movement as the Tea Party are INHERENTLY Independently-minded people.
They're going to have disagreements and different ways of getting things done than the sheeple.
Don't over-think this. In the end, it's about VOTES.
I can't see anyone from EITHER Tea Party group VOTING or endorsing support
for the likes of Reid, Boxer, Pelosi or anyone with a “D” behind their name.

I’ve never heard of the Tea Party Federation. Who did the call racist and why?
