Wish that were so. She has already signaled that she will NOT recuse in a case that she should. Can’t remember the issue this early in the morning though.

My point is that Obama was supposed to be the smartest president we ever had.

Yet he cannot even think for himself.

The conservatives can no longer capitulate. We must hold the line and fight back. Soon the Constitution will not matter at all. When that happens, violence will follow.

You are correct...its coming closer each month...

Thank God for the August Recess to give us some breathing room to get to November.

If November doesn’t work...[left unsaid....]

Compared to the regret felt by a majority of Americans for voting for Obama..........

You are thinking of the Obamacare bill.

She has, though, admitted that she will be recusing herself in a dozen or so cases.

“The Washington Post reported a few years ago that Obama initially wanted to vote for Roberts, but was talked out of it by his staff. Obama, reportedly impressed by Roberts’s intellect, was advised a yes vote would cripple a future presidential run. Obama subsequently voted no.”

Call me a skeptic, but I really do not believe this was in the Washington Post a few years ago. If so. what would the purpose of the article and comment have been? To soften Roberts to overlook the BC concerns?

The sad truth of the matter, taking the Chicago case as an example, is that only one justice was brave and honorable enough to actually rule according to the strict textual and historical meaning of the constitution. For his exemplary duty to our nation he is branded as a "right-winger".

Kagan on the other hand skate through her nomination, this despite her being, by all evidence, a socialist who has constantly flouted the law in deference to progressives. She is an enemy of the constitution so of course the democrats want her in office. Democrats want to destroy our nation.

Oh, don’t worry, I didn’t mean to jump on you in the least! I certainly agree with you, the only point I was trying to make in addition is that all of this sudden faux manufactured “regret” from the Democrats is just a smokescreen to deflect criticism from Kagan.

“What would you have them do?”

Fight! Voice and put on the record their idealogical objections to this extreme left wing non intellect.
The lack of fight appears to me to be a predictor of how the Republican party will act if it gets Congress back - spineless and happy, except for the pesky conservitives who keep calling.

What the H*** is wrong with Democrats? Are they seriously mentally ill (don’t bother answering that). Justices Alito and Roberts follow the LAW. Don’t like what the US Constitution says? All the neo-Fascists need to do is codify their statism in constitutional amendments, and the strict constructionists will follow suit. That’s how CIVIL society works, but the left isn’t civil.

We so badly need to defeat these neo-Fascist scumbags!

Roberts’ testimony was SO JAW-DROPPING that even the STUPID Dem Senators recognized his intellect and called off the hearings after one day when they had 4 days scheduled!!

Neither can his base.

That is a good question. Here is what I would do had I the power to make it happen. Michael Steel would hold a press conference and state clearly that Kagan is an enemy of the constitution and that anyone that cared about the preservation of the rule of law, our form of government, and our nation, could not in good conscience vote for her nomination. Therefore any republican that does vote for her confirmation will immediately and be kicked and banned from the republican party.

She might still get in, she might not, but it better be without one vote from a Republican.

True, but we all know when progressive/Marxism is laid bare for people to vote on it always loses, that's why they need to impose their will via courts and through unelected/unaccountable bureaucrats.

Senate Democrats are expressing regret for supporting the nominations of Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts and Associate Justice Samuel Alito.

To keep life simple, Democrats are evil, so expect nothing good from them, no matter how beguiling some of them may be. Democrats are evil because they support the culture of death (murder of the unborn).

I am so tired of Dems referring to conservatives as “far” right wing. If they take Olympia Snowe as the “middle” of the Republican spectrum, then maybe someone like Roberts could be considered as “far” right wing.

Repubs need to start using the Dems’ language. Every time a Dem is mentioned, a qualifying modifier needs to be tacked onto his/her name. Nancy Pelosi, extreme left wing Democrat; Maxine Waters, Socialist Democrat; Barney Frank, Anti-American Democrat.

Roberts is a mainstream Conservative, Snowe is a very left wing RINO, at least to us. She’s only “moderate” to the lib MSM.

Does anybody still question that the libs want to do away with the Constitution? At least Roberts and Alito understand it and vote for our rights. I doubt that soto-my-you-are-so-stupid and the lesbo will stand up for our rights, but want to look to OTHER countries and their laws.

FUBO and all the dims.
