From Ras's site: The survey of 1,200 Likely Voters in Arizona was conducted on July 21, 2010 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. (Note: the box at the top of the page says 500 likely voters... maybe they called 1200 and only 500 were likely???)

I was included in that poll and they also asked about JD vs. McCain, but those results were not reported on. The results for Jan Brewer were (they were great!). Questions about Obama were also included.

I'm guessing that means the part about JD/McCain was an internal poll and that the party paying for it did NOT like the results--hence the lack of public report by either Ras or the paying party.

I'm further guessing that McCain was the one doing the internal polling because within the last several weeks JD has stated that all the money contributed to him from then on in the primary run will go to ads. Also, McCain is floating in money--some of it left over that he decided not to spend against Obama in the presidential race. HE has plenty of money for polls... Just sayin'.

Zero is scoring record low numbers, in record time (only 18 months). Based on polling results, he is certainly the worst American President in the past 100 years. Some pundits are saying 0 is the worst ever

And the crowd was presented with the King and they began to yell Barabas, give us Barabas.

The king was put forward again and the hue and cry went up.... Crucify him, Crucify him, crucify him!!

Thus the one called Messiah was crucified.

The crowd has become larger and the presstitutes are observing the turn of events

He’s talking about the projected Senate count for next Congress. 49 Democrats, 44 Republicans, 7 seats are tossups right now. I’m guessing these numbers are fluid.

That’s what I was thinking as well. At first, I thought he meant 49-44 as in generic ballot.

They graph is even worse than you think. For the last 6 months his approval index hangs around 30% His disapproval index has climbed. The independents are the reason. If you lose the independents you lose the election. Game over.

GoCards says: “Dems hold a 49-44 lead? how is this possible. It wont be worth a hill of beans if the congress stays dem? Obama can be at 5%. We need to make the elections about Obama, seems we arent doing that.”

***************************************************

I think you may be mistaking the 49-44 number for a popularity poll. The current Balance of Power in the Senate based on Rasmussen’s most recent polling data shows the Democrats are projected to maintain 49 seats, while the Republicans are in play to increase their total to 44 with seven races remaining in the toss-up category.

Keep in mind that most of these toss-up races involve firmly entrenched well-funded veteran Democrat senators and it’s never easy to unseat long-time incumbents. However, the good news is the Republicans are currently tied or have a slight lead in nearly every one of these races, so there is certainly a LOT of reason to be optimistic right now! We all just need to make sure we all do our part (and take a friend or family member with us) to vote these radical Marxists OUT on November 2nd!

By the way, I would LOVE to see updated graphs of the 10 day moving average, 60 moving average, and “Into the Abyss” data that used to get posted on these Rasmussen presidential approval threads regularly. I think they would reveal a very fascinating long-term picture!

Zero 20 congress 11, hows that progressiveness working for ya! there continually poking the tigers cage, Keep your cool people they need an excuse, let us not give it to them until November 2nd. And if there is an event we can only assume it’s a “generated crisis” you know you can’t allow a good crisis to go to waste.

Usually the weekend sees 0bama rebound. If he is at -20 on Sunday, we could hit a new low number this week - maybe -26 to -28. Let’s hope!!

"Tim Storey looks at the state legislative races which take on added importance this year with redistricting just around the corner. “The 2011 redistricting could be the first time since the era of modern redistricting began … that Republicans have the redistricting edge in the states. He adds that “it could be substantial.”

Any projections yet about which states will be gaining seats and which states will be losing seats?

Wow...in 2012, Obama will have to get over half of the “somewhat disapprove” category in order to win....that’s a steep hill.
