Daily Presidential Tracking Poll Sunday, July 25, 2010
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 25% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-five percent (45%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -20 (see trends).
The number who Strongly Disapprove is just one point below the highest level yet recorded for this president. Just over half of all men (51%) Strongly Disapprove. Just 40% of women share that view. Platinum Members can review other demographic information and also a By the Numbers summary featuring other measures of the presidents performance.
An analysis by Tim Storey looks at the state legislative races which take on added importance this year with redistricting just around the corner. The 2011 redistricting could be the first time since the era of modern redistricting began that Republicans have the redistricting edge in the states. He adds that it could be substantial.
The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update).
Updates are also available on Twitter and Facebook. Overall, 43% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's performance. Fifty-six percent (56%) disapprove.
The Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 Balance of Power summary shows Democrats with a 49-44 advantage. Seven states are Toss-Ups.

Let’s keep Shirley in the news.
can I just say this makes my day!!!
I won’t be happy until it’s -35....
-20, woo hoo. Lets hope it sticks.
-Barack Hussein Obama
Dems hold a 49-44 lead? how is this possible. It wont be worth a hill of beans if the congress stays dem? Obama can be at 5%. We need to make the elections about Obama, seems we arent doing that.
Bad news for the smug gay socialist America-hating muslim from Kenya.
Send him to Laredo and let Los Zeta deal with him.
Yep, I’m betting he’s getting hit on both sides on this- the people who think he rushed to judgment on Shirley “Civil Rights” Sherrod and those who think he’s kowtowing to a woman who, at the very least, has major problems when it comes to race. The MSM is doing everything in its power to beatify Shirley. Fortunately, though, Ms. Sherrod is a woman who loves an audience.
These are the leeches, the stupid, the ignorant, the gullible, the self-anointed victims and the elitists who make up the constituency of the Democrat Party....
He’s been at -20 before. Bigger news is that the Abyss Index (total approves minus strong disapproves) is at -2 and this is the third day in a row in negative territory, which I think is a new record.
This is interesting, because usually Obama’s numbers tick up just a little on the weekend. This weekend they are down. I wonder if it’s just normal variation, or the start of finding a new floor...
You forgot Bastard. His parents were not married.
Correction to my prior post: Obama was negative on the Abyss Index for 5 days straight starting June 16. I have hopes for the current streak, though.
The good news is that 56% disapprove of the charlatan-in-chief's performance....
And the White House peed their pants when they found out she was going on Glen Beck. Now THAT is funny. “ AH, Mr. President you have something running down your leg”
Well, let’s see if his numbers stay around -20 for a week. Then it’s a trend....
