The “Bonnie” storm has passed, and the different vessels are not only returned to the site, but are already making progress in returning to operations. As Admiral Allen noted on Sunday
DDIII is now running the riser pipe down. They have 67 joints to complete, they've done 39 of those as of about 10:30 Central Daylight time this morning, need about five more hours to do that. They are planning to latch on to the well around midnight tonight. Development Driller II which was – had drill – was involved in drilling the backup well is returning to site and will start running their riser today.
Q4000 is inspecting the yellow pad, that is the control device that's placed subsea to operate the hydraulics. They replaced the valve on that and they plan to install it later on today and then they will begin preparations for the static kill operations.
He also noted that the pressure in the well has now risen to just over 6,900 psi, while the temperature at the BOP remains at 40 deg – suggesting no flow and that well integrity is apparent. The storm has, however, dispersed and moved the oil, and they are resurveying to find where the threats now lie.
He then gave the current anticipated time line for the kill of the well.

In this video the cable on the left held the new Hydraulics panel. BOP on right. ROV video feed was freezing every now and then. Note at the 27 second mark in the center an animal or object floats left to lower right. Notice its speed and compare that to tiny clathrates that were smaller then a golf ball in size.The clathrates accelerate in the flow.
In this video you can see how fast the clathrates can accelerate in the dynamic flow. ROV video feed was freezing every now and then. At the 50 second mark the new hydraulics control panel can be seen. At the 1:23 mark estimating max peak speed was 20 feet per second.

In this video the amazing dynamic vertical flows can be seen in the clathrate storm. Perhaps the clathrates themselves are helping to develop the storm currents. This is due to the methane gas dissolving or diffusing which is giving them propulsion and acceleration.

The clathrate storms are a new anomaly, but the dynamic currents are developing sediment storms on the bottom. We saw the base of the BOP slightly buried yesterday, now the ROV below comes onto the Tool Crib and find the tools buried. Attempts to clear them with thruster flow, but not successful.
So they need a new tool crib design. Solid walls with a closing solid lid. Would suggest a balloon float to find the tool crib if it gets completely buried.

The WHALE did not work cause the Corexit broke down the oil into droplets and now it can not be cleaned up. That oil is right there; we just can’t see it in globs. Also, according to NOAA, it is thick a few feet below eye level and deep and wide. An unseen lake they call it. Lucky us. It will emerge.

I have no knowledge of BP paying up any of the 20 bil. They just sacked the CEO. I think they will bail and fight it out in court once the well is plugged. I bet they already paid off Obama and Co. If you noticce the lack of hostility from Obama, The Crats and the MSM lately. CNN has changed to specials about ‘Saving the Gulf”. That should be a clue. I imagine Carvile is a little richer too. As well as a lot of Bayou polititians.
They made that deal to give dear reader $20 billion for damages and losses at that White Hut meeting a while back. You won’t see any of it so it’s like it never happened.

Quite interesting remarks coming from TOD’s Snakehead. It is now even being reported by the L/MSM. So if they have given up on the horror stories, then the oil has gone by by, just as many marine biologist and others had predicted would be the case.
