How does someone run a wildly successful primary campaign as an underdog and win a significant victory without great organization and campaign discipline? While she is not perfect, this is largely a manufactured story. She does need to step up and put these stories to bed before they become fact.

Primaries are easier for more zealous candidates becuse their proponents are highly motivated. The backers of the guy she beat are not as motivated for Angle and Reid is a veteran with a highly organized campaign and lots of $$$ and union workers. Her positions resonate well with her followers and here on FR, but touching Soc Security while running in Nevada where half the population are seniors from Ca. is not campaign smart. I don’t see her winning and Reid knew what he was doing when he backdoored support to her primary campaign. At least Schumer won’t be majority ldr.
