I'm still chuckling. According to Heritage and govtrack.us, the Mexican tariffs were in retaliation for what occurred on March 11, 2009. According to this press release, she caves on July 26, 2010. LOLOL

Actually, Mexico was retaliating for what happened in 1996, when Clinton refused to let the MexiTrucks in on schedule.

And then, the NAFTA arbitration panel ruled for Mexico in 2001, two weeks after Bush entered office.

And then, later in 2001, it was the Patty Murry-Richard Shelby amendment to the highway bill that provided the money to the border states to set up the MexiTruck inspection stations along the border.
