Gilchrist cited Tiahrt's strong record on securing our borders, denying illegals any form of amnesty, and cracking down on taxpayer funded benefits that attract illegals to the United States. Moran has never been a true conservative. Moran fights tooth and nail against conservative control of the Kansas GOP. Moran never recruits conservatives to run for office. Moran never helps conservatives raise money.

With my own ears, I heard Moran use the term “wingers” to describe conservatives.
