See #429 Preacher. And don’t assign ‘hate’ to someone without proof. As Christians, we are supposed to hate the sin, but love the sinner. For an alleged pastor, you seem eager to sling that ‘hate’ word around.

Think about it.

(1) Seems we (FReepers)may have had this argument before on other threads — that were similarly NOT about Palin until Palin-haters turned them into Palin-hating threads

(2) “Hate” is a strong word — and the only one that seems to fit those who have a knee-jerk, projectile-vomit response to the lovely lady from Wasilla. They drink the kool-aid and when the anti-Palin heaves hit, the bile of hatred flies! They can’t help it. It’s akin to “Bush hatred,” or maybe even to anti-semitism or racism...

(3) As a Preacher of the Gospel, usually I’m on the receiving end of accusuations of “hatred,” so it’s SAD when I have to point out how VILE the sin of hatred is to people who claim to be fellow travellers in the ranks of Conservatism. But because I “love the sinner,” I DO point it out.

(4) As I’ve said before, I don’t AGREE with Sarah supporting McCain — but I understand WHY she did it. WIthout McCain she wouldn’t have a national stage from which to speak. She was his VP running mate. Her decision was “political payback.” I didn’t agree with her, I don’t LIKE or SUPPORT John McCain — but it’s part of the game at that level. I wouldn’t play the game. She did in this case. Her call. I don’t have to LIKE every decision she made. END OF STORY.

(5) CAN WE NOW FIGHT THE ENEMY? The REAL ENEMY? Those on the LEFT? Those in WASHINGTON DC? Those behind flooding our borders? Judges? Bureaucrats? Please? Or do you just want to single out more Conservatives you don’t quite agree with 5% of the time and beat us up — and do Obama’s thugs job for them?

There you go again, using that wide brush to paint anyone and everyone who doesn't bow and curtsy to Saint Sarah as a 'hater'. Give your head a shake Rev, not only are those who do not worship the former Governor from Alaska not necessarily 'haters', the former Governor has provided plenty of reason and justification NOT to support her, IF one is a logical conservative not operating on pure emotion.

(2) “Hate” is a strong word — and the only one that seems to fit those who have a knee-jerk, projectile-vomit response to the lovely lady from Wasilla. You're a real piece of work. You reveal how you apparently worship the "lovely lady from Wasilla" and once again whip out that wide brush to not only portray those opposed to Sarah Palin as hatemongers, you suggest that they are no better than anti-Semites or racists. You ought to be working for the DNC with that kind of character assasination skills in your quiver.

Remove the beam from your own eye Rev, you are propagating the same sort of hate you accuse Sarah Palin's detractors of embracing. I see no “love the sinner” sentiment in your hypocritical blather. That dog won't hunt.

(4) As I’ve said before, I don’t AGREE with Sarah supporting McCain — but I understand WHY she did it. WIthout McCain she wouldn’t have a national stage from which to speak. Stop making excuses for inexcusable behavior. Sarah Palin has done far more than just 'support' McCain, she has worked tirelessly to drag his corrupt ass across the primary finish line, and if she doesn't KNOW that McCain is a corrupt and vile liberal-progressive, she must be as dumb as a bag o' hammers. If she DOES know, than she is just as amoral and without any principles as is McCain. Don't hand me that crap about “political payback”, what Sarah Palin has done, and is doing, goes far beyond that. When she first came riding to McCain's rescue, he didn't even HAVE a challenger (J.D. Hayworth), why on Earth would she feel the need to support someone running (at that time) unopposed? IF she is as savvy a politician as her sycophants and groupies claim she is, than even in the absence of a primary challenger, she should have known that J.D. Hayworth was considering a run for the GOP nomination to unseat McCain, and at every level, Hayworth's positions are the more conservative, he is the more trustworthy, in fact his views are far more in line with what Sarah Palin claims to believe in each and every day. But Sarah Palin has manifested the behavior that you have no doubt witnessed at some point, i.e., "you don't dance with the Devil (supporting RINOs and liberals) on Saturday night, and then show up singing God's praises in church on Sunday morning as if nothing happened the night before", do you get it yet Preach?

We can't fight the enemy when those in our own camp are working to enable those (like McCain, FioRINO, Steele, et al) who are 'reaching across the aisle' to stab America in the back, conservatives in particular.

You want to talk about KoolAid drinkers Rev? You haven't just guzzled it down, you've snorted it right out of the package!
