What great stores!
Aldi’s has cheap stuff that is still good quality.
I miss living far from a Trader Joe's.

Never seen a Trader Joe’s, but heard they are great.
Love Aldi’s.

Nothing in this article ties these men to Trader Joes.
What’s the deal.

Interestingly, Trader Joe and ALDI USA are two separate companies. Trader Joe's is a subsidiary of Aldi Nord (North), the company headed by Theo Albrecht, whereas ALDI Inc. (
www.aldi.us) is part of Aldi Sued (South), headed by Karl Albrecht, his brother. Both brothers basically divided the world between them in 1966, with Karl's ALDI Sued catering to Southern Germany, the Alps and the Angloshere and Theo's Aldi Nord to Nothern Germany, the Benelux, France, Spain and Eastern Europe.

We LOVE Trader Joe’s. It has great stuff like Whole Paycheck, but it’s much less expensive and not pretentious.
