The only problem I've had there is the produce which would be thrown away at other stores stays on the shelves at Aldi and gets picked over - and that might just be a problem at the local franchises. No one's going to buy those moldy strawberries no matter how long you leave them there.

I haven't seen old produce at Aldi’s; only fresh. It must be something the manager is doing, or not doing, at the store you mentioned.

I get my produce from the farmer’s markets. But I get my frozen fish at Aldi’s. The price is crazy low compared to the local supermarket! And I eats a lotta fish!
