DOCTOR'S ORDERS: Obamacare reversal? House 75% of the way there!
WorldNetDaily ^ | July 28, 2010 | Bob Unruh

One of the biggest targets should the GOP regain control of either the U.S. House or Senate in November's elections, according to many polls, will be Obamacare, the president's plan that effectively nationalized the decision-making process for health-care issues.

But a little-reported move to begin demolition of the health-care system takeover already is pending in the House and has gained about three-quarters of the support it needs to repeal the law that demands citizens buy insurance or pay financial penalties.

Republican Congressman, Mike Castle, doesn't support repealing ObamaCare. He is running for Joe Biden's old US Senate seat this November. All polls show Castle has a huge lead over any Democrat. Delaware conservatives need to join together to defeat this RINO in the primaries!

Delaware politics: Castle won't join GOP effort to repeal health law Rep. Mike Castle of Delaware voted with other Republicans against health care reform legislation, but he isn't joining his party's call to repeal the bill.

I received this message in an email from Castle's conservative opponent, Christine O'Donnell.

Mike Castle, RINO candidate for the Senate in Delaware, just thumbed his nose at you, America's patriots. He said he opposed efforts like mine to repeal ObamaCare as futile.

The AP broke a major story not even 24 hours ago:

"While this president is in office, repealing this full law is not realistic and not the best use of our efforts," he said in a statement.

Trust me, if we keep sending Mike Castle-types to the Senate nothing will ever change. But if we send enough people like me, then sooner rather than later everything will start changing . . . for the better.

We - you and I - want our America back, but I need your help!

About repeal of the health bill, my opponent Castle is saying we should wave a white flag. No, we need to unfurl our American flags and help lead a national crusade to end ObamaCare . . . and end the assault on our liberties.

When the Lords of the Backroom - the career politicians in Washington - are shoving a rancid health bill down our throats, Mike Castle's timid response is, "Well, let's just swallow it."

My response is far different. I say kick down those backroom doors, shine a bright light on the corrupt people inside, and spit out this abomination of a health bill.

I pledge to follow the example of true Republicans leaders like Jim DeMint and Judd Gregg. I will help them drive a stake through the heart of the health bill monster.

Unlike Castle, I will never surrender. I will never accept this travesty known as ObamaCare.

I will vote to repeal and replace!

Mike Castle has rarely met a special interest group he won't sell out to. In my case, I reply on you, American patriots, for the donations I need to fight the battle to repeal healthcare . . . and to oppose the rest of Obama's socialist agenda.

I'm a proven vote-getter among Delaware Republicans. If you help me, I can beat Mike Castle, and he knows it. He's running scared.

Help me to help our country survive this liberal onslaught against our freedom. I promise I will never - not in this lifetime - let you down.

Take a stand with me today. We will fight this until the end.

“While this president is in office, repealing this full law is not realistic and not the best use of our efforts,” he said in a statement.

This is an accurate statement of reality by Mr. Castle. As long as Obama is in office, he will veto any legislation repealing Obamacare. It is simply unrealistic to think you’ll get the necessary votes in both houses to override the veto.

Why didn’t all OP(formerly the GOP)members sign the first day? The people don’t need to wait for Congress since they have the final say as to how they are governed. Obamacare is unconstitutional since Article 1 Section 8 does not specifically list health care as an enumerated power! The people are not bound by an unconstitutional act! It is incumbent upon Americans to defend the Constitution by openly defying the marxist takeover of our country!

“he will veto any legislation repealing Obamacare. It is simply unrealistic to think you’ll get the necessary votes in both houses to override the veto.”

If he did that, then the whole world will see him for what he is, “A Dictator” going against the will of the people.

How muuch effort would he expend in saying he supported repealing the travesty?

“If he did that, then the whole world will see him for what he is, “A Dictator” going against the will of the people.”

The ‘whole world’ has already seen him act as if he were “A Dictator” when he signed a bill that went against the will of the people.

Beats me. He might have already said such. The article is a press release by his opponent. You think that opponent would have included such a statement in her press release?

Castle is merely making the point that GOP efforts should focus on accomplishments rather than making pointless statements.

Castle points out, rightly, that even if the GOP wins the House, they can't repeal anything as long as Obama is there to veto.

But what are these great "accomplishments" he wants the GOP to focus on now with their puny minority status?

No doubt about it.

But that isn't a reason not to repeal it.

1. It keeps the faith with the conservative voters.

2. It forces the President to do something very unpopular -- veto the repeal, going against the will of the public.

Then, the Congress will be free to do what they can do: de-fund the monster.

Christine has been saying DEFUND IT then repeal it.

Defunding it is not subject to pResidential veto.

Keep in mind that Castle wouldn’t commit his vote on Obamacare until two days before the vote - only AFTER the Dems determined they didn’t need his vote to pass it.

>>>Castle is merely making the point that GOP efforts should focus on accomplishments rather than making pointless statements.<<<

Let me count the ways.... Vote AGAINST surge in Iraq - vote FOR Cap-N-Tax - Co-authored DISCLOSE Act attempting to muzzle those who aren’t Unions, huge Special Interests, nuzzles up repeatedly to Soros organized groups, wouldn’t commit on Obamacare until Dems determined they didn’t need his vote.

Put Castle in the Senate, and what do you create?

Castle will jump right in with his Main Street Project buddy Olympia Snowe - Susan Collins and several other RINOs to hold the Republican Party hostage. They will either move to the Left Middle or be stymied at every attempt to save this Nation.

When have we had enough? When do we say - ‘NO MORE!’?

When do we start backing candidates who are unwaveringly for the principles we SAY we support...

Pro-Constitution - Pro-National Defense - Pro-Family - Pro-Life - Pro-Second Amendment - Pro-States Rights - Pro-Border Security - Pro-Free Market - Pro-Freedom - Anti-High Taxes - Anti-Big Government - Anti-ObamaCare.

Try going to her site http://www.christine2010.com and look at the page comparing her positions and Castles. Can you honestly say you support Castle over Christine?
NOT ME!

You don't have to repeal it, you can defund it.

And you can force the President to veto attempts to repeal it, and run on doing so.

Castle should not be elected to anything.
