It does. The executive order is unconstitutional.

It’s going to take 2 terms for a Republican president to unwind all the crap being done now.

Just as he planned from the beginning. Also all the liberals have been dreaming of for decades.

Between the downfall of our great nation and my DH having Alzheimer’s I am depressed and discouraged more and more looking at this beautiful but hopeless world.

Bureaucrats LOVE regionalism. They love to break up cohesive communities that have existed for hundreds or thousands of years, and put them under the control of unelected faceless bureaucrats instead of their familiar elected representatives.

The Europeans are really big into this. The ancient shires in England are now “ceremonial counties” with no role in government. But even this denigration of tradition has not been enough to slake the filthy government scum’s thirst for destruction. Now they are trying to break up sovereign nations themselves, to permit easier tyrannization. The English counties and French departments along the English Channel have been placed together in a “region” divorced from the rest of Britain and France. In time, the European Union itself will be organized as a gulag of such Frankenstein monsters instead of a voluntary association of traditional sovereign states with something in common.

How sad to see that this dreadful fad has spread to our shores. Anyone advocating regionalism has marked himself out as an enemy of freedom and we should prepare to deal with them on that basis, in the same manner as our forefathers would have done. How long, O Lord, how long?

Well, since the pendulum has swung so far as to break, the response can either be incoherent, or responsive enough to actually free us completely from the cobwebs that have held us down.
Imagine privatizing social security and medicare and medicaid. Imagine closing down much of the federal bureaucracy and simplifying business regs, taxes, and energy regs.
America is growing right now despite the best efforts to kill it dead, dead, dead. Imagine what would happen if America was allowed to prosper?

Guys, I found the actual document
http://www.whitehouse.gov/files/documents/OPTF_FinalRecs.pdfand I wish I could really understand it. Please help... p. 65 it begins with this:
“XIII . C onsistency with International Law
CMS Plans would be implemented in accordance with customary international law, including as
reflected in the Law of the Sea Convention, and with treaties and other international agreements to
which the United States is a party. Seaward of the baseline, development and implementation of CMS
Plans are to be consistent with the extent to which the United States exercises its rights and jurisdiction
and performs duties in its territorial sea, EEZ, and Continental Shelf. CMS Plans would not change the
rights, duties, and jurisdiction of the United States under international law, including with respect to
navigational rights and freedoms. Nothing in this document or in CMS Plans developed pursuant to it
would create private rights of action or other enforceable individual legal rights regarding the meaning
and applicability of international law.”

It was written by lawyers. It’s not meant to be understood. It’s meant to be interpreted to mean whatever our overlords need it to mean in any given circumstance to justify the raping of our national sovereignty.

Other than that, the document is pretty much harmless....

Thanks for the information. I need to study further to assess he extent of Treason!
We are in serious trouble, and it’s not because of one man. Clintons, Bushes, and many, many more are guilty. Oh, did I mentioned RINOs?

If he had even half a brain, he would throw the U.N. out of this country....

But I guess that can wait a couple years for a president with some balls.

On January 30 at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the Managing Director of the IMF, announced a possible new initiative – a multi-billion dollar Green Fund (that name is popular – see below) that would help developing countries finance the measures needed to tackle climate change – possibly with partial funding through issuance by the IMF of new Special Drawing Rights (SDRs).”
