I am late to this thread, but apparently he had previously been demoted for fighting with another soldier.
My son is just about to finish up BCT, when he got into reception, it was drilled into them, that they were not under any circumstances use words like gay, faggot, queer, etc. and you would be seriously reprimanded possibly chaptered out if you even teased anyone using a homosexual term.
My sister in law owns a business in a predominately gay area, being where it is and the clientele she does hire gay servers. She will tell you they are nuts!!! For the most part they are not the best of workers because they let their private lives insert themselves too much....lots of drama and disruption.
What I have noticed about gays, especially in a surrounding where open is accepted is that for the most part, they take an enormous amount of prescription drugs, they engage in VERY risky anonymous behavior and first and foremost they are GAY! And they are extremely jealous and vicious to one another, talk about back stabbing!!!! And like I said before DRAMA!!!!!!!!!
