That's like saying I don't pay for my health insurance. It's all part of the compensation that is traded for my efforts on their behalf. If my employer did not have to pay UI, I would be paid more. See how that works, I can draw you a flow chart if needed.

I have no idea whether you pay for your health insurance or not and it really isn't any of my business.

We should have a Freeper unemployment thread... Interesting idea... but it would soon degenerate into a flame war between the "holier than thou" crowd that thinks anyone on UI is scum, and those of us who are, or soon will be surviving on it.
